The horde of illegal immigrants managed to escape from he facility and almost trampled over the secutiry officers. In recent days the African immigrants have been escaping from hospitals and "reception centers" due to the fact that quarantine has been imposed

This sort of speech has become more and more common by Erdogan, specially now that he is losing popular support, so he tries to appeal to fundamentalist and radical islamists and neo-ottomans not only in Turkey but also in countries that either support Turkey directly or have many Turkish immigrants within their population as a way to exert pressure on those countries

🔹The new "president", Ersin Tatar is a pro-Erdogan politician who will now most likely push the Erdogan agenda, claiming that despite not agreeing with the end of the occupation, the "Turkish Cypriots" deserve a share of the revenues from Gas exploration by Cyprus (Turkey and "Northern Cyprus" don't recognize Cyprus as a legitimate state).
🔹Another common talking point is that Turkey and "Northern Cyprus" are proposing a two-state scenario to "solve the situation", giving legitimacy to their illegally occupied territories. Turkey also does not want to make compromises regarding that scenario and keeps claiming ownership of regions such as Farmagusta that can't be settled by the so called "Turkish Cypriots" because they were not from the city and according to a UN resolution, only the original inhabitants will be allowed to resettle the city when the situation is solved

⚙️ I've been one of GD's staff members for quite a while now and am currently working on the second episode which should be released by next Saturday.
🗝 Since I don't want to see this channel inactive for too long either, I will share here a small extract which should already give you a taste of what will episode 2 contain.
🎙 Many people refuse to listen to these stories, because it is beyond their force to subject themselves to such horrors. So while I'm with you, let me give you a piece of advice: face the horror. Endure it. Get used to it.
🕯 Much darker times are upon us. The burden of truth is heavy, but ignorance will crush you. So stay strong, and remember that we are all in this together.
