For those who dont know what the Chora Monastery is, it is home of mosaics considered the most well preserved and some of the most beautiful among all the existing today.
The monastery dates back to the 4th century, 3 centuries before islam was created.
in 21/08 Erdogan made a decree that would convert the monastery into a mosque, the decision came not long after Erdogan had also officially converted Hagia Sofia into a mosque.

After the Greek FM went to Iraq to talk with his counterpart and Kurdish representatives, the Turkish Government kept the Greek Government's plane in the air for 20 minutes over the border with open comms with the pilots because they refused to let the plane fly over Turkey after it already had permission from earlier
