This is not the first time Austria asked for the end of the Accession Negotiations with Turkey recently, both the Austrian Chancellor and Foreign Minister have been positioning themselves against Turkey, demanding sanctions and even the end of their possible candidacy to become an EU member

For those who might be interested in the relations between Turkey and Greece, a good recommendation is to watch the documentary "Lethal Nationalism: The Genocide of the Greeks 1913-1923" (2020)

It tells in detail what happened during what is known as "The Greek Genocide" when the Turks started an ethnic cleansing campaign against Greeks all over Turkey, destroying thousands of years of history.
Villages, Churches, Schools and everything else that had belonged to the Greeks for thousands of years was either stolen or destroyed and 700 000+ Indigenous Greeks were killed
