Weβve always been fascinated by how Netflix manages its recommendation system, this marvel is done by a Data Scientist.
One of my close friends recently interviewed for a Data Scientist role at Netflix.
With 3 years of experience, my friend believed he could crack the role. But reality hit hard.
From the very first round, he realized his day-to-day experience wasnβt enough.
-He struggled with some basic fundamental questions.
-The advanced questions were tougher than expected, exposing gaps in his preparation.
He couldnβt make it past the 2nd round, and his journey to Netflix was cut short.
