Vaping is illegal. Dangerous substances such as etomidate can be added into e-vaporisers and pose serious harms to users.

For now, persons who come forward to seek help or bin their e-vaporisers will not face any penalties for doing so.

1 in 3 vapes contain etomidate, which is addictive and should only be used by licensed medical professionals. Once etomidate is listed as a Class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act, those who use drug-laced vapes will face stiffer penalties including jail sentences.
