Commencing booster vaccinations

🔹 From 14 Sep, seniors ≥ 60 years old will be progressively invited to book an appt for their booster dose

🔹 Moderately or severely immunocompromised individuals are encouraged to take the booster dose only after consulting their treating specialist

As of 10 Sep 12pm, there are 689 COVID-19 cases currently warded in hospitals. 25 cases require oxygen supplementation and 6 are in the ICU.

There are a total of 573 new cases.

As of 9 Sep, 81% of our total population has completed the full regimen* and 83% has received 1 dose.

Updates to COVID-19 Healthcare Protocols & Vaccine Boosters

🏠 Expansion of Home Recovery Pilot from 15 Sep
🔹 For fully vaccinated with mild or no symptoms, no underlying illnesses
🔹 Allowed for those up to 50 y.o.
➡️ Children ≥ 5 y.o. may recover at home if assessed to be suitable

😷 Quarantine period shortened from 14 days to 10
🔹 Individual must test negative at day 10
🔹 Daily ART required till day 14

💪 Commencing Booster Vaccinations from 14 Sep
➡️ For those 60 & above
➡️ Residents of aged-care facilities
Completed full regimen at least 6 months ago
🔹 SMS with unique booking link will be sent to those eligible

As of 11 Sep 12pm, there are 708 COVID-19 cases currently warded in hospitals. 35 cases require oxygen supplementation and 7 are in the ICU.

There are a total of 555 new cases.

Over the last 28 days, among the infected persons, the percentage of unvaccinated who became severely ill or died is 5.2%, while that for the fully vaccinated is 1.0%.

🏠 From 18 Sep, home recovery will be the default care management model for those:
🔹 Fully vaccinated;
🔹 12 to 69 y.o.;
🔹 No or mild symptoms;
🔹 No severe co-morbidities/illnesses;
🔹 Able to self-isolate in a room, preferably with bathroom; and
🔹 Have no household members > 80 y.o. or are in vulnerable groups (e.g. pregnant)
