The first session of the Centre for the Development of Artificial Intelligence under the Government of the Russian Federation was held with representatives of business and regions. The goal is to launch a dialogue between the government and the industry, to establish interaction for the accelerated introduction of AI into public administration and the economy.

The session participants agreed that a centralised approach is needed to solve this problem. It will not only speed up the process, but also reduce costs, minimise risks and increase the efficiency of AI implementation.
Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Chief of Staff of the Government Executive Office, supervises the Centre. The resolution on the creation of the Centre was signed in June, the team has been formed and is actively working.

Digital Transformation in Kazakhstan: Outcomes and Prospects
The Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented during the briefing the results of digital transformation and plans for further simplification of public services in Kazakhstan.
Over the period 2021-2025, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan re-engineered 1,549 business processes in 31 state bodies, which allowed to optimise processes, increase the level of automation and reduce paperwork.
The Ministry shared key results in digital transformation. Admission to higher education institutions is now carried out online through the eGov portal and the Unified Higher Education Platform, resulting in a 92 per cent increase in admission efficiency.
