According to a Taliban spokesperson, 55 Pakistani soldiers have been killed so far. 19 Pakistani outposts have been captured by the Taliban. 8 Taliban fighters have been killed and 11 injured.

As always, Pakistan has once again reached out to other countries seeking a ceasefire.

Afghanistan's Defence Ministry said its air force carried out the airstrike at around 11 am, targeting military locations in Pakistan, including near Faizabad in Islamabad, an army cantonment in Nowshera, a military colony in Jamrud and locations in Abbottabad.

Afghan media claiming the Taliban carried out a drone strike targeting the Nowshera Cantt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

In the last one hour, Pakistan's Foreign Minister has spoken to the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Pakistan is working hard for ceasefire.

“We have struck key military targets inside Pakistan. This sends a clear message: our reach extends to their very necks,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Afghan government.

There are reports of an Afghan drone strike in Peshawar.

The Turkish Foreign Minister held talks over a phone call with the Afghan Taliban Foreign Minister and the Pakistani Foreign Minister following escalating tensions along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border.
