视频应用 Just (Video) Player 的开发者透露，Google Play 的自动审核程序最近以违反反色情政策为由 短暂封杀了该应用，原因是应用最近的一次更新描述表示加入了对 ass 字幕文件的支持。ass 代表 Advanced SubStation Alpha，是标准的字幕文件脚本格式。开发者表示他们立即提起了上诉，Google 目前已经解除了封锁，应用重新上架。Google Play 应用商店的审核流程因为缺乏人类员工的参与而饱受批评，经常会以匪夷所思的理由拒绝应用上架。
