🔓 CZ and the Potential Prison Sentence

CZ settled the case and traveled to the U.S., bringing $4 billion, which was clearly agreed upon at that time.

Now, something is obviously going wrong. He's under house arrest, and denied the opportunity to see his family (and CZ is a father of many children). A real prison sentence now looms, despite the already concluded $4 billion deal.

This is very reminiscent of the political arrest of the Huawei founder's daughter (who was also Canadian).

It's sad that if CZ is imprisoned, the issue with arrests and criminal cases won't just fade away, but will start anew.

Why is CZ detained, while hundreds of other crypto dealers are free, and many are even in the U.S.? And the Chinese will seek revenge, finding and pouring dirt on everyone.

A good scenario would be a short term of house arrest and full release. Otherwise, there will only be more uncertainty in our already fragile market.

A bad scenario is a real sentence for one of China's top businessmen (he is a figure like Pavel Durov).

Imagine the scale of compromising materials that CZ and his friends hold. Correspondences, including with American funds, founders. All this will inevitably appear, either in parts or all at once.

The SEC and other agencies will not be able to ignore these leaks and will have to react, which overall will undermine confidence in the crypto industry.

Even if CZ says, "Let me be the only victim," it won't stop anything; many others will simply want revenge.

No matter how you look at it, bad scenarios abound, and the LUNA-FTX-SAM-CZ saga continues.

CZ could very unfortunately fall victim to the political machinery of the U.S., and the whole crypto industry along with him.

I am still optimistic though :)
