Based on the results of May, inflation in this magical country once again stood at 8.7%, just like it did a month ago, despite expectations of 8.4%.
The, core inflation (which excludes food and energy) reached a 31-year high of 7.1%.
Meanwhile... For the first time since 1961, the country's national debt has exceeded 100% of the country's GDP. As reported by Reuters, borrowing was higher than expected.
The debt reached 2.567 trillion pounds or 100.1% of GDP.
