"The Three Cyclones"
When we sang 'One Song' during the morning session, I saw three huge cyclones which were spinning close to each other, but also close to a tree. The three cyclones seemed to be moving or rotating in different directions. As we kept on praying for God's church to become one, I saw the three cyclones merge to form one huge cyclone; its speed also seemed to increase. Because of its speed of rotation, the cyclone began to act like a drill and was entering into the Earth (ground) while still rotating. While in the ground, it began to suck in things, especially objects that connoted wealth. I saw was that what it sucked in most were cars and a lot of material things. The cyclone was behaving more or less like a vacuum cleaner. By the time it was done, the entire environment (which I understood represented the whole earth) was now clean and fresh. You could feel the life in the air. It was as though the entire Earth was now a garden of some sort and I saw that everywhere had also become an unending expanse of land with fresh green grass sprouting all over it.
This is the understanding I got:
The three cyclones represent Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles. Their coming together to form one huge and powerful cyclone signifies the oneness that the Church needs today. It was being pointed out to me that The Body of Christ today has three major/broad categories of doctrine.
There are groups whose teachings are limited to the Passover experience; salvation through the work of Christ on the Cross. They are neither willing to venture into anything that involves the Pentecost (The outpouring of God's Spirit) nor have the understanding of the Tabernacles – the eternal plan of God to make man His dwelling place.
There are also groups who stick to this Pentecost experience, not progressing to the revelation of the blessed hope that exists for mankind in the era of Tabernacles.
Then, there are those who have actually moved on to understanding the Tabernacles. I believe God was saying that Oneness in the Church will be marked by the merging of these three into one, and these things become the teachings that are taught all over the Body.
This is when the Church will truly be able to generate the energy required to overcome the things that are in the world, and the only outcome will be the beginnings of restoration of the Earth.
I also understand that this coming together will be marked by the fullness of the manifestations that are to accompany the coming of both the Latter and Former Rain to the Earth!

LESSONS FROM THE FIELD (2)An Unlikely Meeting
I went out early that morning to share tracts to the students heading to the Secondary School located in the community. While I shared the tracts, I encouraged the students to read them. A few got my phone number, even though they didn't have phones, and promised to call as soon as they could.
On my way back, I noticed a young man staring at me. He was standing by a gate close to the school so I suspected he was a gateman. I approached him with a smile and he returned the smile. I asked him for his name and he said, “A.J." A little while into our conversation, I discovered he was a Muslim. At first, [before I knew he was a Muslim] I told him Jesus loved him and asked if he knew Jesus but I didn't dwell on the question. Almost immediately, I found myself changing the focus of my discussion to Abraham and Moses. I shared about how they feared God and how they were very expectant of a Redeemer that was yet to come, which was Jesus.
A Strange Opposition
As I was talking, a man came out from one of the buildings in the compound and told A.J to open the gate for him. When the man saw me, I greeted him but he didn't even want to reply my greetings. He just kept shouting angrily at me saying "Do you not know he's a Muslim, how dare you come to preach to him?" He went to his car and as he was driving out, he called me to come close to his window and these were his words -
"You can't be preaching to that man, he's a Muslim. That's what causes the chaos between Muslims and Christians. I'm a Christian but I don't go to church and I haven't tried imposing my belief on him. He (the gatekeeper, A.J) has even told me once to take him to my church anytime I decide to go to church but I haven't. I even help him by driving him to the mosque."
When he was done talking, I asked him why he refused to go to church and he told me that there is no church in the entire State where the truth is preached. I knew it was just an excuse to justify his bad actions; I tried to talk to him, but he didn't want me to say anything. He kept arguing and trying to shut me up. Shortly after, he drove off shaking his head and saying that I shouldn't even try to convince him.
Sealing the Deal
As he left, I went back to A.J who pleaded with me to come inside the premises and sit with him in his small room to avoid other side talks by the tenants. I was a bit scared but I kept hearing the Holy Spirit say to me "Be courageous." He kept the room door open and we sat on the floor. He asked me what his boss said and I narrated the whole story to him. Then, he said that his boss has refused to go to church but claims to be a Christian. I was so ashamed, but he went on to tell me not to get angry at his boss or mind his words because he saw how badly his boss treated me.
He then urged me to preach to him (A.J); saying I might end up convincing him to believe in Christ. So, I resumed my discussion about Jesus. I told him of Christ and all the promises and hope He has given us; then, he made mention of 'loving one another' sometime during the conversation. So, I asked him if he has ever read the Bible. He said 'a little' but he doesn't understand it because he can't really read.

He told me he had many questions to ask; he asked about Abraham and Moses and I told him all I knew and how both of them kept referencing the coming of Christ. I told him that no one comes to the Father except through the Son (Jesus), that if he actually loves God and believes in God, he will believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, I gave answers to all the questions he asked. He asked of Adam and Eve and I explained the whole story as best as I could.
After explaining, I could see the joy in him. I'm grateful to the Holy Spirit for giving me words to speak! He said that now that I have explained to his understanding, perhaps I should come along with more of 'my people' and explain more things to him and perhaps one day, he'll follow us to my church! He asked me what he should do next; I told him to pray and tell God that he believes in His Son Jesus. He did; I also prayed for him, got his number and left. On my way out, he ran towards me with a piece of paper to get my number and repeated that I should make out some time and come with 'my people' for fellowship. He was just very happy about the encounter. He later called that evening to confirm my number.
Being an Example
Walking back to the junction, I saw a woman in a shop who called me and asked me what I was holding. I gave her one of the tracts and explained it to her. She was very pleased by what I was saying and how at my young age, I hadn't joined in 'youthful adventures' many youths seek. She told me she'll keep the tract for her children after reading it. I entered a tricycle back to my hostel and gave the last two tracts to fellow passengers in the tricycle.
Do not fear, God is here!
A little back story before my outing: At first I was wondering how I was going to share the tracts on my own as no one joined me that morning to go to the secondary school [we are taught in church to go out on evangelism in pairs at the very least, just like Jesus sent out His disciples two by two].
This was my main focus as we had been told to reach out to the students in the school. I kept asking, "how can they send me alone?" but I later knew it was God trying to make me understand that He is always with us so far as we step out to obey him. May God's name be praised. Amen.

Glamour Struck!Looking back, indeed God had brought me a long way; He has delivered me from self consciousness and vanity (to a great degree) with regards to my dressing.
When I started being serious with God after I joined God's Lighthouse in 2017, I wasn't dressing as decently as I do now. There has been so much progress!
I remember that when I was little, the way my mum dressed me and the style and size of the clothes my dad bought me made me so unhappy. The idea my dad had when buying clothes was that it wasn't meant to fit perfectly, so it would still be wearable after three years, with any amount of weight gain taken into account. I was really skinny, so everything typically looked like a bag for me. I grew up very unhappy about my dressing.
I used to sit and imagine that one day, God would come down to where I was and take me up to heaven and then I'll come back wearing, a short skirt with high heels and a big bag of new clothes. As childish and unbelievable as this may sound, I hoped and waited for this to happen but it did not. So with this mindset, I watched a lot of ' Keeping Up With The Kardashians' [an American reality television series.] TV made them look like the standard for girls as I felt they had 'perfect' bodies.
Because of this set standard in my mind, I tried very hard to fit into that picture. I took drugs that would make me eat a lot and add weight, but you know there are some prayers God doesn't answer. No matter how much I ate, there are some places that adipose tissue just never appeared. Oh, shattered dreams! I resorted to researching on the net on what type of dressing would fit my body type and still make me look like 'The Kardashians'. I changed my dressing, started wearing very tight/clingy skirts and blouses. I started showing some skin too. The skirts were usually short and only long if it was a style of dressing that needed it to be so.
Because of this desire, I was very self conscious. I was very particular about the way people saw me. I hoped they'd see me as a 'hot chick.' It affected the way I walked, talked and presented myself to people. I wanted to look like the standard. If my skirt puffed out or appeared loose in an area I wanted accentuated, (due to weight loss as a result of not eating very well), then I may not go to school that day. I would feel lazy and sad the whole day because I didn't look the way I wanted to.
Then I came to God's Lighthouse. Nobody talked about how I dressed at the initial stage, thank God, because maybe I would have never come back. Although sometimes, I'd notice some people give me some looks of disapproval, but at that stage, it didn't make any sense. I didn't understand what they meant.(If they meant anything at all or it was just my conscience!)Then we had a Sisters Meeting around May 2018. It was tough. Pastor said a lot of things about dressing, the right ways to dress and how Christian ladies are to present themselves. I felt so caged. I remember thinking, "Oh, Lord! this is an overly religious place." I really had high hopes for God's Lighthouse but hearing what pastor shared broke my heart. I was sad. To make things worse for me, when we prayed in the meeting, I saw a vision of myself dying in a very painful way. I was to, in reality, lay down my idol of self, and die to my flesh, and vanity. God was just increasing the volume so I would hear well.
There's a difference between reacting when they're preaching about something, and doing so when it's actually happening in your life. Honestly I thought it was easier for you to fall under the anointing, than for you to do something like wear a loose skirt outside. The presence of God and the word shared in His House is amazing, but we have to go on from here to obey what is said! Everything pastor said was true, I couldn't deny it. In every way, it applied to me but it was difficult to accept.

After that theory, the practicals came. Changing my dressing for real - from my skirts, to blouses, trousers, everything was going to change.
I had two sisters who were around me mostly at that time, and I thank God for them. I remember one day, I wore my longest skirt. In my head, the skirt was very long, and it was a practical step of dying to myself as I wore it. One of the sisters came into the room and said, "I hope you know this skirt is really short, it's quite above your knee." Hearing this, I was pained. I felt like I had been shot. The other sister who's very blunt, came in and added, "Your skirt is short, so change it. Change your wardrobe." There was no empathy at all. I mean that's how I've been dressing all my life, how would you tell me to change it?
As usual, God is always very willing to help. Thankfully, I got some money so I was able to buy new skirts, trousers and all and let go of the old bad (indecent) ones, this was really hard. While I was buying the new clothes, I didn't have places to go, so I didn't feel the change that much, until the first day I wore a loose skirt out. It was very hard. I died a thousand deaths that day. I felt cold and hot at the same time as I stepped out. The guys in my class in school that already had that old picture of me saw me and were giving me weird stares and glances.
Time has passed, and it's amazing how I don't feel like wearing tight, clingy and revealing clothes anymore. It's not in my mind to wear such things, I don't even have any plan to. To come from a place of being particular about how people saw me, whether I was attractive enough and appealing enough, to a place where, I only care about being decently dressed and covered, is a big deal and I thank God.
The media makes it look like, the more appealing and 'sexy' you are, the more respected and appreciated you'll be, and this is not true. I wouldn't have been free if I didn't hear the truth, what God says about dressing modestly, and how we must not cause others to stumble.
The change at first made me feel like I lost all the respect people had for me, I felt like a religious fanatic, even when I hadn't even made complete adjustments as I should have. The beauty is that I wasn't being forced, rather I was carefully shown and taught what God says. I had to make a choice. I wanted to please God, so I started to obey even though I didn't exactly feel too good about it. Right now, thanks to God, I'm at a place where I'd rather dress decently than look trendy and acceptable to the world while being indecent.
I feel like I'm wearing clothes now, like I'm dressed because looking at old pictures made me realize that I wasn't even dressed properly at all. I mean, I looked hungry, skinny, disproportionate... I really want to thank God for the great miracle. It was a mindset problem and the deliverance isn't just in the fact that I'm wearing loose and more decent clothes, but in the fact that I know that I want to please God, and not cause others to stumble.
So, I've decided that I must dress decently no matter what!
May God be praised...

THE CHRISTIAN GAMBLER
I had my ups and down as a struggling Christian. I managed to read my Bible here and there and preach a little too. I felt my life was fairly okay until I got trapped in the web of gambling which almost destroyed my life. This is how it all began...
Part 1
In 2014, I had a shop I was sharing with someone. The rent expired and my co-tenant did not tell me that he wasn’t going to share the rent on our next payment. This left me stranded as I only had money to pay for 6 months. I tried to beg the landlord but he refused and insisted that I pay for one year, so I left the shop. I went for a training [apprenticeship] afterwards and when I returned, my mother gave me some money which I added to the one I had saved earlier. I paid for another shop in June, and my business started in August 2014.
When I opened the shop, there was a girl who stayed around my shop. I hated her initially because she was quite disrespectful. A few months later though, I cannot explain how it happened, but we became close friends, and then she became my girlfriend. I went on to ask her out despite being told the previous night in a dream to leave her alone, else she would cause me so much pain. Every time she was with me, I kept hearing, “She will cause you pain,” but I didn’t listen.
Later on, I felt that living with my mother was no longer conducive for me as I now had a girlfriend. I decided to get my own apartment in order to keep the relationship. I moved into a house and committed the sin of fornication all through my stay there. But the word I had gotten, “She will cause you pain,” kept coming to me. One day, I called her on the phone and while the call was going on, I heard a male voice in the background and something that sounded like a slap followed. I was shocked and worried too, because before we started the relationship, I had asked her if she had a boyfriend and she said no. Of course I believed her because I thought that since I didn't lie about being single, then why would she lie? I called back and the male picked the call. I insisted on meeting with him but he refused. After this incident, I still continued the relationship with the girl after we settled the dispute. However, my life was taking a downward slope as things didn't seem to be getting any better financially.

Introduced To Quick Money
One Sunday morning, my girlfriend came visiting so I decided not to go to church. Instead, we decided to go to a friend’s place. On the way, we passed by a gambling/betting shop and she told me she wanted to go in and play a little game. I decided to follow her and see how the game was played. This was the first time that I had entered that kind of shop. She went in and started to play 'colours'. I didn’t understand anything she was doing, I was just standing and observing.
I was curious because I had heard a lot about the whole betting thing. She played the first round and she won! Before my very own eyes, we had made some money that morning just like that! I didn’t know it was that 'simple.' So I told myself that I wasn’t going to play the game yet, all I will do is to ‘sit down, watch it and monitor how it is done.’
I did the study for quite a while with my own unique techniques. Soon I started being able to predict the colours that will come out. I could tell a player “blue will come out, go and play” and it would be just as I said it. Each time I predicted, it was correct so this really encouraged me. Then I decided to play. The first day, I played, got some money and went home. And just like that, I was in [i.e. had become addicted].
A New Lifestyle Formed
God was so kind and began to reach out to me with corrections and warnings...
By my second week of betting, I had a dream one night and someone (who I believe was an angel) came to me and told me to go and ask the people who played the game if they had done anything useful with the money they had gotten from gambling. He told me not to go near it anymore. He told me it was evil.
When I woke up in the morning, I began to think. Even though I had only been in the game for about two weeks, I had put in (and lost!) a lot of money and was even low on cash. The earning was such that; if you won ₦10 today, you’ll end up giving them back ₦100 unknowingly.
Also, within those two weeks, I lost my phone in the Bet shop. I realized this when I got home. I called my number and someone picked up and told me to come and get the phone at a certain location. When I got there, I called the number and the person didn’t pick the call again. The next day, he called and gave me another location to come to. I went there, and again when I arrived, he refused to pick. I got fed up and when he called to give me another location, I told him to keep the phone, but please return the sim card, as I didn't back up the numbers. That was the last I heard from him. Losing the sim card was serious because it was my business line, and so every connection and contacts of potential clients that I had were lost.
