More and more is the Catholic religion being pushed upon Christians, yet majority of Roman Catholic doctrine (including Ash Wednesday) is unscriptural

Both Ash Wednesday and Lent are derived from the pagan Babylonian tradition called “the weeping of Tammuz,” in which the Babylonians spent 40 days weeping and fasting to honor a deceased Tammuz. After 40 days of mourning, Tammuz was allegedly “resurrected”

Interestingly, Ezekiel 8:14 describes women sitting at the gate of the Lord's house "weeping for Tammuz," which God calls an abomination

Rome later adopted this tradition and its believed the ashes on the forehead is a node to Tammuz, who is also Nimrod-Apollo. It’s sad to see so many participating in this ancient ritual each year, unaware of its roots. Reject Catholicism, but pray for Catholics, that they be led out of this false religion
