2,000 years ago, the Jews were looking for a mighty Lion 🦁—a conquering King—to overthrow Rome and establish His kingdom. But instead, they got the Lamb 🐑, who came to die for the sins of the world.
🔹 “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29)
Now, 2,000 years later, humanity will be looking for a Lamb—but will get a Lion! 🦁🔥
But before that day comes, Jesus will first return to take His Church out of this world before the Tribulation begins! Those who have trusted in Him will be caught up to meet Him in the air.
🔹 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
Then, after seven years of Tribulation, Jesus will return in power and glory to rule the nations. This time, He will not come as the Lamb of sacrifice, but as the Lion of Judah—the righteous Judge! ⚖️🔥
🔹 “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” (Revelation 19:11)
When Messiah returns to rule, He will no longer be on a throne of mercy, but one of justice. Those who rejected Him will face His judgment.
Now is the time to believe in Jesus Christ’s finished work on the cross! He died, was buried, and rose again for YOU ( 1 Cor. 15: 1-4) Trust in Him NOW before it’s too late!
🔹 “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
