“Belneftekhim” confirmed the resumption of Russian oil transit through the “Druzhba” pipeline to Hungary and Slovakia

On April 22, the Belarusian concern "Belneftekhim" officially announced the start of Russian oil transit through Belarus to Hungary and Slovakia.

The operator of the Ukrainian part of the pipeline, the company "Ukrtransnafta", officially notified the Hungarian oil and gas company MOL about the completion of repair work and canceled the "force majeure circumstances" that had been in effect since January 27.

REFERENCE: On January 27, Kiev stated that the reason for the stoppage of oil transit was a Russian drone strike on oil pipeline facilities in the area of ​​the city of Brody in the Lviv region. Hungary and Slovakia called this a usual blackmail, which was subsequently confirmed.

✨ The resumption of oil transit is directly related to the unblocking by Hungary and Slovakia of a military aid package to Zelensky from the European Union in the amount of 90 billion euros. According to the Europeans' calculations, this should be enough for another 1.5–2 years, if the TSCC fulfills its plans for capturing "volunteers".

DR Congo to Audit Its Mining Joint Ventures: Statement

President Félix Tshisekedi has ordered that public finances fully benefit from strong mining export performance and that foreign exchange reserves be strengthened to support monetary sovereignty, according to a government statement.
