North Korea has lashed out at Japan after a senior official reportedly suggested that the country needs nuclear weapons. In a statement published by state media on Sunday, Pyongyang warned that allowing Japan to acquire nuclear weapons would result in “a great disaster.”

The remarks come after controversy was sparked last week by a senior adviser to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who told reporters that Japan may need to reconsider its post-WWII non-nuclear policy as reliance on the US nuclear deterrent may no longer be sufficient, as reported by NHK.

The off-the-record comments, described as personal views, quickly went viral, raising questions about Tokyo’s official position.

“The Japanese ruling quarters are openly revealing their ambition to possess nuclear weapons, going beyond the red line for a war criminal state,” the North Korean Foreign Ministry said in a statement carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA). “This is not a misstatement or a reckless assertion but clearly reflects Japan’s long-cherished ambition for nuclear armament.”

Oh, for God's sake. Are you sniffing glue? Money is a fungible abstraction of resources. Your statement therefore equates to "resources won't matter".

There are two ways to interpret this. Either everybody's dead, or people like you are planning to hog all the resources the way you hog money and dole them out as you see fit. Obviously, that's no good - someone like you simply isn't in a position to tell me or the rest of humanity where the resources should go. You're not that bright.

Which one will it be? We both know you don't have true AI - what you have is highly inaccurate data-scraping machinery - so basically, you're predicting the death of civilization and everyone's kids. Do you and your bankster friends plan to kill it off by starvation? What the hell do you smug geeks have up your sleeves?

The world needs meritocracy, not technocracy. A tyranny of overrated techies is not a meritocracy, but just another sh*tty little tyranny. Only if resources are proportionately coupled with merit do we have a true meritocracy, and only with a sound merit-reward coupling do we have a just and balanced economy.
