An op is a story. A story is a mechanism of information delivery. It's important to separate the delivery mechanism from the purpose of the op.

The delivery mechanism's only purpose is the delivery of the op. It is in no way required to be a true description of something real. It's only the thing that makes you look. It's why they sell us sex as a marketing tool. The delivery mechanism only has to be believable, desirable, and capable of delivering the purpose of the op, whether or not we can detect what the purpose is.

If we come away adopting the belief promoted by the op, the op was successful. Once again, there is no requirement for the delivery mechanism to be true for it to be successful.

We mistake the forest for the trees.

South Korea's new president, Lee Jae-myung, was viciously attacked by the entire American media apparatus, branded as a "communist." Even Steve Bannon and people in his orbit were lamenting the day in June when this guy was elected, certain that he would betray us and sell out to China.

Instead, here is President Lee joking about Trump building a Trump Tower in North Korea, assuring the American President that Kim Jong Un would be waiting for him to come play golf.

South Korea is not a real country. It is a US military-occupied Regime proxy state. The Korean War has not ended, for real, literally.

What we’re watching is Korea being given back half of its land.

“Article II of the US-ROK SOFA stipulates that South Korea “grants” land and facilities for US military use. This is not a lease or a transfer of ownership; it is a sovereign grant of use, tied to the defense partnership. When facilities are no longer needed, they are returned to South Korea. ROK stands for South Korea’s official name, the Republic of Korea.

Meanwhile, experts suggested that Trump’s comments about "ownership" were likely a bargaining tactic ahead of future security negotiations, since granting actual ownership of the land is legally and politically unfeasible.

Park Won-gon, military expert and professor of North Korean Studies at Ewha Womans University, explained that Trump’s remarks were an indirect way of pressuring South Korea to increase its defense spending and shoulder a larger security burden, possibly by renegotiating the cost-sharing agreement for maintaining the USFK, known as the Special Measures Agreement.”
