This really isn’t a difficult situation to figure out: Nobody should be mocked or shamed for having earnest curiosity, or even incredulous contempt, toward the same government that has been caught lying to us about every major story for years now. It is insane to presume that the US government is suddenly trustworthy simply because DJT is President. They betrayed us (and Trump) countless times during his first term.

Maybe they are telling the truth on Epstein. Unfortunately, they have lied about literally everything else, so they don’t get the benefit of the doubt.
