Behind the scenes, BlackRock is betting big on raking in the blood-stained profits.

In May, mere WEEKS before Israel struck, BlackRock launched a new ‘defense industrials’ exchange-traded fund (ETF) offering investment opportunities into firms making a living off “geopolitical fragmentation and a shifting global defense landscape.”

📈 Amid the escalation, BlackRock’s defense-related ETF holdings have exploded:

BlackRock’s Bitcoin portfolio (3%+ of all coins), began spiking sharply in April, from 573K to 669K coins. Since June 13, it scooped up 9K+ more.

BlackRock is a massive holder of defense stocks, including

🔶 RTX, Northrop Grumman (7.3%)

🔶 Boeing (7%)

It also has investments in Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (via the $273M MSCI Israel ETF).

As US arms factories churn out ammo for Israel and Tel Aviv ramps up domestic production, BlackRock stands to make a killing in Iran.

🪖 Loyal foot soldiers

While some leaders have called for de-escalation, BlackRock protégé-turned German chancellor Merz openly praised Israel’s strikes, saying the IDF is “doing the dirty work for us all.”

Same goes for Trump, who’s been BlackRock’s advocate in the fight for the Panama Canal, steered market volatility with trade wars, and is now embracing Israel’s aggression and threatening to join in.

🌐 Ideological commitments

Staunchly pro-Israel through the crisis, BlackRock’s stance stems from financial and institutional ties (WEF, for example), ideological alignments and geopolitical strategy.

BlackRock hostility to Iran makes sense: it’s one of the only countries with a central bank outside globalist frameworks dominated by the IMF, World Bank, and funds like itself.
