The reality is it was red meat for "crypto," not bitcoin. Every bitcoiner knew it. Most, including myself, stayed quiet but at the same time, everyone knew and knows that Gary Gensler was mostly right in substance. First, he was wrong to deny the bitcoin ETFs . John Bolton advises that Israel should immediately attack Iran, while acknowledging that Iran never followed through on its most recent threat to retaliate against Israel bombing of their facilities months back.
Bolton also acknowledges that Russia just signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with Iran this week, and China has a vested national security interest in protecting its main supplier of oil. (The two most powerful militaries in the world, aside from the US.)
Iran also has one of the largest standing militaries in the worldβ at least 4x the size of the IDFβ and has demonstrated that it possesses advanced weapon technology in the form of hypersonic missiles. Federal workers were caught off guard Thursday by a mysterious email with the subject line "Email Test."
"This is a test of a new distribution and response list," the email read.
It included a link to a webpage titled "Federal Government-Wide Email Communication Test."
"OPM is testing a new capability allowing it to send important communications to ALL civilian federal employees in a single email address. Testing of this messaging system functionality is expected as soon as this week," the website states.
The message, sent to workers across different agencies in a week of transition, surprised recipients, including some who mistook it for spam, leading some agencies to follow up to clarify with staffers.
Sources told ABC News that the White House has discussed testing a message system where President Donald Trump could message the federal government's more than 2 million civilian employees.
