Today’s report is the second addressing some of the various “Operations” and “Projects” which the CIA has conducted around the world. It has always been difficult to reconstruct CIA activities, as it routinely classifies everything it even thinks about doing, and refuses to disclose documents exposing its activities under the Freedom of Information Act. Sadly, judges are afraid to overrule claims that CIA documents are classified no matter how weak the justification may be.

General Flynn selected some interesting operations here to highlight.

Operation Mongoose - After the failure of the Bay of Pigs [proxy-force] invasion, the CIA engaged in a campaign of sabotage and terrorism against the citizenry of Cuba.

Operation Cyclone - The CIA recruited a Saudi national (Osama bin Laden) to organize a resistance fighter movement in Afghanistan against the Soviets, providing training but also schools (indoctrination centers) to educate their children. The fighters that they trained and the students from those schools would later form Al Qaeda.

Operation Peter Pan - A clandestine "exodus" of minor-aged children (6-18) from Cuba between 1960-1962. Parents were eager to offer their children to these strangers, promised that they would be escaping communism. Official estimates are that at least 14,000 kids were trafficked by the CIA.

Operation Gladio - A sophisticated campaign that began in Italy to launch a coup against the incumbent government using hybrid-warfare techniques performed by trained operatives including propaganda, psychological warfare, assassination, sabotage, infiltration and subversion, among other things. The goal was to replace the existing government with a chosen candidate (puppet). The program expanded worldwide.

Operation Condor - Similar to Operation Gladio, but specifically tailored for the Central/South American theater. While the drug trade (in collusion with the Mafia) was a factor in Italy, Condor required the creation of a crime cartel that could be used to operate the cocaine trade.

Operation Northwood - A proposal to launch false flag terrorist operations against the American public, which would be blamed on Fidel Castro, in order to justify a war with Cuba. The proposal was rejected by President Kennedy.

African countries cannot take sovereign decisions on their military cooperation when they still have bases of the former colonial power on their soil, Amzat Boukari-Yabara, a pan-Africanist historian of Beninese origin, told Sputnik Africa.

The departure of the French army is extremely important if African nations want to really assume their sovereignty and redefine their security policy, the expert said.

🗣 "There is a desire on the part of African states to assume, at least visibly, their sovereignty by simply removing any foreign army from their soil," Boukari-Yabara said.

In addition, he stated that "there is a mobilization of young people who believe that we must put an end to the last marks of colonialism and that the issue of military bases obviously refers to a whole presence of domination, of control of African interests from outside."
