He says that he took refuge at the Russian airbase in Latakia, and that the base came under attack.

That means that Israel attacked Russia.

He also said that due to security concerns, a communications blackout for 10 days was necessary.

Ten days of darkness.

Sounds like Assad is still in play on the chessboard.

For those who saw this explosion, this is in Tartus— where Russia has maintained a naval base since the Cold War.

Netanyahu has been bragging that he is the one behind the overthrow of Syria. Now Assad says they attacked the Russian military directly.

I suspect we will see a Ukraine 2.0 with Russia/Israel.

Seems evident that the endgame in Ukraine now is the arrest of government officials by Russian forces. Putin says that they have committed crimes against both their own people and Russia. Doesn't seem like a situation where they will be left to their own devices, where they could easily organize new efforts against Putin's government.

To clarify on my assertion of 10 days without communications:

The CIA/GCHQ propaganda machine (MSM) published wall-to-wall articles on December 6 that Assad had fled Syria and was in Moscow, citing "sources inside the Kremlin." (Obviously, these were lies designed to embolden the terrorists conducting the coup in Syria. Please note that

The Kremlin didn't confirm these reports until December 9th, which would align with the timeline Assad gives in his statement. Meaning that from December 6th until December 16th, Assad made no public communications to contradict the MSM's false narrative, which in his statement he asserts was done for security reasons.

10 days of no communication, with his statement released on the 11th day.

Three days ago, the Wall Street Journal published a story— citing "people familiar with the matter"— that President Trump had told Netanyahu that he would consider preemptive strikes against Iran in order to thwart an anticipated nuclear strike from Iran against Israel. (A narrative/scenario I predicted the first time I appeared on camera on Badlands back in June 2023.)

Today, Trump was asked the question by journalists during a press conference, and basically called the guy who asked it a retard for thinking that Trump would ever divulge such plans, if he actually intended to follow through.
