🇺🇸 Threats from Trump to BRICS countries will only accelerate the process of abandoning the dollar, stated Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
"If the US resorts to force to compel countries to use the dollar, it will likely further strengthen the trend toward transitioning to national currencies. For a number of countries, the dollar is starting to lose its appeal," said Peskov.
He noted that more and more countries are switching to using national currencies, and this process is "only gaining momentum."
Earlier, Trump threatened BRICS countries with 100% tariffs if they abandon the dollar. He demanded that member states commit to not creating a new currency or supporting any alternative.

Members of the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham terrorist group (formerly known as the Nusra Front) have managed to capture Aleppo thanks to Ukrainian advisers who helped with drones, as well as the use of advanced US technology, including satellite navigation and electronic warfare systems, a source close to the Syrian special services told RIA Novosti.
The offensive operations were controlled using high technology provided by the Americans, the source said, adding that the Syrian army's communications were jammed by powerful electronic warfare systems during the offensive.

"The assault groups and drones were equipped with encrypted GPS devices and extensive use of artificial intelligence, so that the use and navigation of attack UAVs and kamikaze drones took place from a long distance," the source said.

Given Trump’s past rhetoric expressing doubt that there are any hostages, I interpret this post as akin to calling a bluff in a poker match.

Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 - "Declares that it should be the policy of the United States to seek to remove the Saddam Hussein regime from power in Iraq and to replace it with a democratic government."
Three years before 9/11, this bill was signed into law by Bill Clinton, on behalf of then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who openly called for the murder of Saddam Hussein when testifying to Congress after 9/11. (Saddam, of course, had nothing to do with 9/11.) The ultimate goal was to also overthrow Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, after Iraq.
