A ceasefire agreement is being developed with the support of U.S. presidential advisors Amos Hochstein and Brett McGurk.
International outlets, such as Israel's Ynet News and the Saudi-owned British publication Asharq Al-Awsat, have recently reported, citing sources, that Israel requested Russia's participation in this agreement.
Newsweek believes that the involvement of a global power with connections to nearly all major stakeholders could provide critical support for the initiative, especially as Washington's leadership in the Middle East faces increasing skepticism.

So here is an interesting conversation that Trump had back on 10/07/24 with Hugh Hewitt. When asked about visiting the Chabad in New York, Trump said that Israel (likely referring to the Israeli elite-- the "Diaspora") needed to "get smart about supporting Trump-- because they don't [support me]."
