Israel presented their defense at The Hague today.

In their opening remarks, their lead counsel said that they had not been given sufficient time to prepare a defense, and were not able to get their entire legal team on site, and therefore requested a continuance so they could reschedule. They were denied.

This is a common lawfare tactic used by underhanded lawyers. The guy who killed my brother hired multiple law firms and pulled this same stunt, and was able to delay his murder trial for years.

How do you not have your defense prepared? South Africa filed these charges back in the middle of November. You haven’t spent day and night ever since preparing your legal defense?
