This is a big deal.

Last year, Joel Embiid signed a 4 year contract worth $213M (all guaranteed money, meaning he gets it even if he never plays) with an average annual earnings of $51M.

It's fair to say that his Bell's palsy is going to impact his ability to perform at a high level. Considering he's only 30 years old, it's expected that he'll sign at least one more contract after this one with the 76ers.
