Former US Vice President Mike Pence told CBS that President Joe Biden’s labeling of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping as a dictator was “a statement of fact.”

Pence, a contender in the upcoming Republican primary, said, “There’s no more effective way to send a deafening message to communist China to check their military ambitions in the Asia Pacific” than aiding Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.

Russia To Cut Oil Exports By 500K Barrels Per Day

Russia will cut oil exports by 500,000 barrels per day in August to “ ensure the oil market remains balanced,” Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

Novak’s office declined to say whether Russian oil output would decline by the same amount.

GOP nominee contender Christ Christie claims Donald Trump won’t be able to resist attending the Republican nomination debates because his ego won’t let him stay away, despite the former president suggesting he might not.

“He’s on Truth Social going bonkers, and no one’s paying attention? He won’t deal well with that,” the fellow Republican candidate claimed, adding that he would beat Trump in a debate due to having helped his rival prep in 2016 and 2020.

“I probably am here because of debates. I don’t mind it at all,” Trump told Fox News’s Bret Baier recently. “But when you’re 40 points up… Why would I let these people take shots at me?”

Doctors Without Borders have declared the situation "critical" at Sudan's displacement camps after 13 children died from a suspected measles outbreak over the last few weeks. 

From June 6 to 27, the NGO treated 223 children with the suspected disease in White Nile camps, with 72 – including the 13 who died – admitted to two clinics it supports.

Israel Conducts Missile Raids On Syria

The Syrian military said that Israel launched airstrikes near the central Syrian city of Homs on Sunday, causing material damage but no casualties.

According to Israel, a Syrian anti-aircraft missile exploded over Israeli territory, which prompted another round of strikes.

Syria’s government media said that some of the country’s air defenses have also shot down Israeli missiles over neighboring Lebanon.
