🇨🇳 China alone ≈ $20.68T

🌍 All the “blue” countries combined
≈ $20.45T

In other words, China’s economy roughly equals the entire economic output of:

• #Russia
• Central Asia
• Middle East
• Africa
• South & Southeast Asia

That’s the scale of concentration.

Now connect it to #energy and commodities:

If one economy equals half the developing world’s output, its demand for oil, #LNG , #copper , iron ore and food is not marginal.

It is system-defining.

When #China slows, global trade slows.
When China accelerates, shipping, metals and energy tighten.

This isn’t just a GDP comparison.

It’s a reminder that one country sits at the center of commodity demand gravity.
🇨🇳vs. 🇩🇪:From 4× Smaller to 4× Bigger

1990
Germany’s economy ≈ 4× #China.

2007
China ≈ #Germany.

2025
China ≈ 4× Germany. ~ $20T vs ~$5T.

In one generation, China moved from peripheral to dominant in global output.

This is not just growth.
It is a structural shift in economic gravity.
The Four Horsemen of Critical Minerals Demand

1. Population Growth + Emerging Demand

2. Electric Mobility

3. AI, Data, and Advanced Tech

4. Security & Defense

The AI revolution is the most capital-intensive buildout in human history, requiring physical inputs at a scale the world has never produced.

The commodity-to-equity ratio sits at 50YR lows.

Energy/metals comprise <7% of the SPY while the economy's demand for them skyrockets.
NVIDIA $NVDA and $META Meta have signed a multiyear partnership to build hyperscale AI infrastructure.

Meta will deploy millions of Blackwell and Rubin GPUs alongside Grace and Vera CPUs, marking the first large scale Grace-only server deployment to power next generation AI.

After the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group transits the Atlantic, the U.S. will have 2 aircraft carriers and 15 destroyers (plus a few subs) to work with across combatant commands. Approx. 33% of the deployed U.S. Navy fleet is represented below, which…
We are witnessing the largest U.S. Air Force combat buildup in Europe and the Middle East since the Gulf War, alongside major naval deployments.

This is not signaling “negotiations” with Iran, something is coming soon.

6 x USAF E-3G Sentry AWACS from the U.S. to Europe.

Over 17 U.S. Air Force tankers repositioned to Europe (Lajes, Rota, Chania).

12 x F-22s deploying via RAF Lakenheath to likely Al Udeid.

36 x F-16s en route to Middle East.

E-11A to Ramstein then ME. 1 U-2 left UK, likely Cyprus or Saudi.
Jerome Powell said they would only purchase $40B T-Bills in Dec 2025, followed by $20-$25B per month after that... He lied.

Instead the Federal Reserve purchased $40B in Dec and $70B in Jan 2026.

The liquidity crisis they created is getting worse (by design).

Federal Reserve's Repurchase Agreements (REPO) spiked to $30 billion today.

REPO is overnight lending to the banking system when they're short of liquidity. It's usually a sign of stress.
Why the current Feb-Apr 2026 Treasury market situation is unique with no precedent:

The Feb–Apr 2026 clusters (~$300–508 billion single-day settlements, $640–708 billion weekly) stem from a post-2020 "maturity wall" pandemic-era short-term debt (issued 2020–2022) now rolling off amid ongoing ~$2 trillion annual deficits.

This creates peacetime gross rollover volumes unprecedented in history: Total maturing debt in 2026–2028 cited in analyses: $9–15 trillion.

No prior era had this combination of scale + tight clustering before a crisis. Abnormally large rollovers like 2026's have always occurred during a financial crisis, not pre-crisis warnings. The current setup is structurally a new peacetime maturity cliff on steroids.

The U.S. has never faced a true Treasury rollover crisis in its history.

T-Bills held by the Federal Reserve has already exceeded $305 billion.
How will Scott Bessent and Jerome Powell navigate this?

Europe’s LNG Pivot Is Clear

🇺🇸 US to Europe
Flows have surged

2025–26 volumes running well above last year, with a sharp winter spike.

🇷🇺 Russia to Europe
Still meaningful

Seasonal dip mid-year, recovery into winter.

🇶🇦 🇩🇿 🇳🇬 🇳🇴 🇹🇹
Qatar, Algeria, Nigeria, Norway, Trinidad. Relatively stable

No structural surge.

The story is not “diversification everywhere.”

It is concentration.

Europe replaced Russian pipeline gas with US LNG.

And the marginal molecule this winter is American.

That reshapes pricing power.
And long-term contract leverage.

#Russia #LNg #gas
🇨🇳China Now Consumes 1 in Every 3 kWh on Earth

1980
US dominated global electricity demand.

2025
#China ≈ 33% of global power consumption.
US ≈ 16–17%.

#Russia marginal.
Rest of world shrinking share.

This is the real shift....

Industrial output,Data centers,EVs,Heavy manufacturing.

#Energy is economic gravity.

And China now sits at the center of the power map.
🇨🇳China Says No to US LNG

💵But the Dollar Still Wins

China halted direct US LNG imports.
Yet Chinese firms keep trading US-linked cargoes globally.

Meanwhile China still imports:

• ~11 mb/d of crude
• LNG heading toward 140 mt

Almost all priced and settled in USD.

You can reroute molecules.
You can’t easily reroute the currency.

Energy still runs on dollars.

Hedge funds pile into commodities.

Recent price movements and geopolitical tensions have caused hedge funds to increase their commodity positions.

The commodity space is ~$5 trillion vs. NVIDIA ~$4.5 trillion.

Once meaningful capital rotates into hard assets, expect prices to explode.
🚨America Is Building Gas And Japan Is Funding It💰

The US already has 88 gas plants planned or under construction, adding 40 GW of new capacity.

🇺🇸 🇯🇵 President Trump announced the 1st projects under a $550B US–Japan trade deal, including:

• A critical minerals site in Georgia
• A Texas LNG project
• A gas power plant in Ohio

No financing details yet. But the direction is clear.

This is not just domestic build-out.
It’s coordinated energy + industrial policy.

🔹 AI + data centers → rising power demand
🔹 LNG exports → global energy leverage
🔹 Gas plants → firm capacity for renewables
🔹 Critical minerals → supply chain security

Gas is no longer just a fuel.

It’s infrastructure.
It’s diplomacy.
It’s trade strategy.

The US grid is expanding.
And allies are tying capital to it.
