#Silver deficits are structural

- Surpluses totaled +185 Moz from 2016-2020.
- Deficits total -796 Moz from 2021-2025.
- That is a net swing of -981 Moz.

Let's put that in perspective

- The deficit equals ~100% of annual mine output.
- Single-year gaps hit -20-25% of supply.

Supply canโ€™t keep up with demand

To make matters worse, only 20% of silver supply comes from silver mines. The vast majority comes as a byproduct of copper or zinc mining.

In other words, rising #silver prices wonโ€™t incentivize a #copper or zinc mine to ramp up production.

We are still in the early innings of a commodity bull market

Years of underinvestment created supply demand imbalance

That is exactly what we are seeing now.

The next phase is always massive CapEx, which eventually floods the market and depresses prices.

But production comes with a lag.

- New production takes 15โ€“20 yrs to come online
- Costs are higher
- Ore grades are declining

This cycle is different.

The West offshored industry to China to maximize margins, trading independence for cheap imports. That model works in a frictionless world... but not in a geopolitically fractured one.

To regain independence, reshoring is mandatory.

That means:

- Grid expansion
- Building factories
- Building alternative supply chains

This adds structural demand to an already tight commodity market.

Thatโ€™s how you ignite the mother of all commodity bull markets
๐Ÿšจ URANIUM SUPPLY IS NOT DIVERSIFIED

โ€ข ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ฟ Kazakhstan ~40%+ global supply
โ€ข ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Namibia rising
โ€ข ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ช Niger critical
โ€ข US = marginal producer

This is a geopolitical concentration.

The West shut mines.
Asia secured supply.

If nuclear scales again:

โ€ข Supply risk spikes
โ€ข Price volatility returns
โ€ข Strategic stockpiling accelerates

Uranium isnโ€™t just fuel.

Itโ€™s leverage.

China is piling up US gold.

- US gold exports hit an all-time high of 40B in 2022
- After the US seized Russian assets and blocked access to SWIFT
- The main destination for US gold exports was Switzerland
- The main destination for Switzerlandโ€™s gold exports was China

Since September 2025, non-monetary gold has ranked among the top 1 or 2 US export categories.

That is not a coincidence.

It suggests China is increasingly demanding physical gold rather than USD in exchange for its goods

This is reminiscent of the WW II period

During that time, the US, then the rising power, demanded gold or USD from the British Empire in exchange for critical goods. Britain, which still controlled the global reserve currency, was forced to settle in gold or lose the war.

That shift accelerated the transfer of monetary power from Britain to the US.

Today, the roles appear to be reversing.

Replace China with 1945 America, and the US with the British Empire and the strategic implications become clearer. Today the US economy can't survive without Chinese critical minerals, nor hope to win any war.

When trade settlement shifts toward hard assets, it signals deep distrust in the monetary system.

We are watching global power and the monetary system gradually rotate toward tangible assets: gold, energy, metals, and real resources.
Africaโ€™s mineral wealth is not abstract.

From iron ore and manganese to graphite, rare earths and uranium, the continent holds globally significant scale across strategic minerals.

This map from the Compendium of Africaโ€™s Strategic Minerals 2026 shows precisely where that endowment sits โ€” and where the next industrial value chains could be built.
Beijing to Brief Top Rare Earth and Metals Producers on Export Controls on March 25 $MP $UUUU $UAMY $USAR $NB $AREC $UURAF

A Chinese metals industry body will hold a policy briefing next month on rare earth and other critical minerals exports, as Beijing tightens controls on strategic materials and steps up oversight of dual-use goods, according to an event notice.

โ€ข The China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Imports & Exports will hold the event on March 25 in Beijing.

โ€ข Officials from the Commerce Ministry and customs authority will brief metals firms on export controls, customs clearance and compliance requirements. They will deliver an outlook on China-U.S. trade relations and broader foreign trade policy under the next five-year planning cycle.

โ€ข Market analysis on global supply, demand and overseas resource development for rare earths and metals such as tungsten, tin and antimony will also be on the agenda.

โ€ข 83% antimony from #China
โ€ข 100% gallium + graphite
โ€ข 50%+ nickel, magnesium, germanium

China is the primary supplier across key inputs.

Why it matters:

โ€ข EVs need lithium, graphite
โ€ข Solar needs tellurium
โ€ข Chips need gallium, germanium
โ€ข Defense needs rare earths

This is leverage!

๐Ÿšจ THE ENERGY TRANSITION NEEDS 293 NEW MINES BY 2030

Battery demand alone requires:

โ€ข 61 new copper mines
โ€ข 52 lithium mines
โ€ข 31 natural graphite mines
โ€ข 29 rare earth mines
โ€ข 28 nickel mines

Copper gap:

โ€ข Current supply. 22.9M tonnes
โ€ข Additional needed. 3.7M tonnes

Lithium gap:

โ€ข +1.2M tonnes required

This is industrial scale expansion.

Permitting takes 10โ€“15 years.
Capex is exploding.
Ore grades are declining.

If projects donโ€™t accelerate:

โ€ข Mineral inflation returns
โ€ข EV margins compress
โ€ข Energy transition slows

The constraint isnโ€™t demand.

Itโ€™s geology.
