🚨 THE ENERGY GAP IS NOT CLOSING

It’s scaling with income

• US 250–300 GJ per person
• #India 25–30 GJ per person
• DR Congo 1 GJ per person

Huge gap between richest and poorest

Why?

• Industrialisation drives energy intensity
• Urbanisation multiplies electricity demand
• Mobility = oil demand
• Income growth = appliance growth

If billions move from $5k to $15k GDP per capita:

• Power grids must triple
• LNG demand structurally rises
• Oil demand plateaus later than expected
• Coal exits slower than models assume

Per capita #energy use is a proxy for wealth.

And most of the world is still at the bottom left of that chart.

Markets price peak demand.

Demographics price expansion.

🚨 ENI Locks In 4.5 bcm/year New LNG + 29,000 km² in Libya

🇪🇺 Ensuring gas for Europe

🇨🇬 Congo LNG Phase 2 Is Now Online

With Phase 2 exports underway:

• Total capacity: 3 mtpa
• 4.5 bcm/year
• FLNG (Nguya) tied to Nené & Litchendjili fields
• First cargo loaded early February

This moves Eni closer to its target of 20 mtpa LNG equity by 2030

Post-Russia, Europe needs:

• Shorter shipping routes
• Diversified equity LNG
• Supply outside US–Qatar concentration

Congo is a solution

🇱🇾 Libya: 29,000 km² Offshore With QatarEnergy

In Libya’s first licensing round since 2007:

• Eni 60% (Operator)
• QatarEnergy 40%
• Offshore License O1, Sirte Basin extension
• 5-year exploration window
• Major 2D/3D seismic + drilling planned

This block includes:

• Stranded discoveries
• Undeveloped oil & gas potential
• Vast areas with limited seismic

High risk, high impact exploration on Europe’s doorstep.

Rare earth magnets are set for explosive growth.

According to Morgan Stanley, demand could increase 477× over the next 25 years.

China dominates the supply chain, producing roughly 90% of the world’s rare earth magnets.

Rebuilding supply independence won’t happen overnight. It will define a multi-decade strategic investment trend.

Biggest Central Bank Buyers of #Gold since 2020 🚨 China, Poland, Turkey, India, and Brazil
India is becoming the largest importer of silver

Despite surging silver prices, India imported massive amounts of silver.

- 2025: ~220 m oz
- 2024: ~230 m oz

To put that in perspective:

India alone is importing ~25% of global annual mine supply.

Physical #silver demand in India remains strong.
This is the most important gold chart.

Gold/SP moves in a large trading range. Each cycle within that range takes roughly ~1 decade from peak to bottom. The seizure of Russian assets marked the current cycle top ~4 years ago.

Assuming current S&P levels hold, to reach:

- The 2008 low, gold would need to trade at ~$8,300/oz
- The 1979 low, gold would need to trade at ~$40,000/oz

Interestingly, if you had gone all-in on gold in the late 1960s, you would have outperformed the S&P for over 6 decades.

The current #gold cycle has just begun and has further room to run.

$2BILLION raised in #Web3 in Q1 2026.

Here’s where the smart money is actually going 👇

Stablecoin rails:
Rain, LMAX, Mesh…

Stablecoins are evolving from “crypto tool” to enterprise settlement layer. Cards, collateral, embedded finance. This is payment plumbing, not hype.

Infrastructure over speculation:
BitGo IPO. Anchorage. Talos.

Institutions are doubling down on compliant, regulated infra. Operational depth is winning over narratives.

RWAs expanding beyond treasuries:
Private credit. Tokenized gold. Regulated issuance rails.
Real-world yield is quietly absorbing capital.

Embedded trading and card infra:
Brokerage APIs and issuance rails are merging Web3 with fintech distribution.

Compliance is non-negotiable:
TRM, Project Eleven.

Security and risk tooling are becoming proactive layers, not afterthoughts.

Crypto-native product still funded:
Jupiter. ZBD. Opinion.
Speculation evolves but infra gets funded first.

The theme:
2026 isn’t about hype cycles.
It’s about rails, regulation, and real cash flows.
#Silver deficits are structural

- Surpluses totaled +185 Moz from 2016-2020.
- Deficits total -796 Moz from 2021-2025.
- That is a net swing of -981 Moz.

Let's put that in perspective

- The deficit equals ~100% of annual mine output.
- Single-year gaps hit -20-25% of supply.

Supply can’t keep up with demand

To make matters worse, only 20% of silver supply comes from silver mines. The vast majority comes as a byproduct of copper or zinc mining.

In other words, rising #silver prices won’t incentivize a #copper or zinc mine to ramp up production.

We are still in the early innings of a commodity bull market

Years of underinvestment created supply demand imbalance

That is exactly what we are seeing now.

The next phase is always massive CapEx, which eventually floods the market and depresses prices.

But production comes with a lag.

- New production takes 15–20 yrs to come online
- Costs are higher
- Ore grades are declining

This cycle is different.

The West offshored industry to China to maximize margins, trading independence for cheap imports. That model works in a frictionless world... but not in a geopolitically fractured one.

To regain independence, reshoring is mandatory.

That means:

- Grid expansion
- Building factories
- Building alternative supply chains

This adds structural demand to an already tight commodity market.

That’s how you ignite the mother of all commodity bull markets
🚨 URANIUM SUPPLY IS NOT DIVERSIFIED

• 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan ~40%+ global supply
• 🇳🇦 Namibia rising
• 🇳🇪 Niger critical
• US = marginal producer

This is a geopolitical concentration.

The West shut mines.
Asia secured supply.

If nuclear scales again:

• Supply risk spikes
• Price volatility returns
• Strategic stockpiling accelerates

Uranium isn’t just fuel.

It’s leverage.

China is piling up US gold.

- US gold exports hit an all-time high of 40B in 2022
- After the US seized Russian assets and blocked access to SWIFT
- The main destination for US gold exports was Switzerland
- The main destination for Switzerland’s gold exports was China

Since September 2025, non-monetary gold has ranked among the top 1 or 2 US export categories.

That is not a coincidence.

It suggests China is increasingly demanding physical gold rather than USD in exchange for its goods

This is reminiscent of the WW II period

During that time, the US, then the rising power, demanded gold or USD from the British Empire in exchange for critical goods. Britain, which still controlled the global reserve currency, was forced to settle in gold or lose the war.

That shift accelerated the transfer of monetary power from Britain to the US.

Today, the roles appear to be reversing.

Replace China with 1945 America, and the US with the British Empire and the strategic implications become clearer. Today the US economy can't survive without Chinese critical minerals, nor hope to win any war.

When trade settlement shifts toward hard assets, it signals deep distrust in the monetary system.

We are watching global power and the monetary system gradually rotate toward tangible assets: gold, energy, metals, and real resources.
Africa’s mineral wealth is not abstract.

From iron ore and manganese to graphite, rare earths and uranium, the continent holds globally significant scale across strategic minerals.

This map from the Compendium of Africa’s Strategic Minerals 2026 shows precisely where that endowment sits — and where the next industrial value chains could be built.
Beijing to Brief Top Rare Earth and Metals Producers on Export Controls on March 25 $MP $UUUU $UAMY $USAR $NB $AREC $UURAF

A Chinese metals industry body will hold a policy briefing next month on rare earth and other critical minerals exports, as Beijing tightens controls on strategic materials and steps up oversight of dual-use goods, according to an event notice.

• The China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals & Chemicals Imports & Exports will hold the event on March 25 in Beijing.

• Officials from the Commerce Ministry and customs authority will brief metals firms on export controls, customs clearance and compliance requirements. They will deliver an outlook on China-U.S. trade relations and broader foreign trade policy under the next five-year planning cycle.

• Market analysis on global supply, demand and overseas resource development for rare earths and metals such as tungsten, tin and antimony will also be on the agenda.

🚨 THE US DEPENDS ON CHINA FOR CRITICAL MINERALS

Energy transition, Defense, Tech.

• 100% import reliant on 12 minerals
• 95%+ rare earths
• 83% antimony from #China
• 100% gallium + graphite
• 50%+ nickel, magnesium, germanium

China is the primary supplier across key inputs.

Why it matters:

• EVs need lithium, graphite
• Solar needs tellurium
• Chips need gallium, germanium
• Defense needs rare earths

This is leverage!
