• Grid build-out, renewables, and electrification are labour-intensive
• But fossil fuels didn’t fade. Oil, gas, and coal jobs rebounded in several regions in 2024

The energy transition is adding jobs, not replacing them one-for-one.

Electricity is leading, but hydrocarbons are still very much in the labour mix.

On autonomy: He expects self-driving approval in Europe and China soon, robotaxis to be widespread in the U.S. by year end, and Tesla insurance to drop prices because FSD is becoming statistically safer than humans.

Musk also said AI could be smarter than any single human by the end of this year, and smarter than all humanity combined by 2030.
