🚨THE CRYPTO MARKET STRUCTURE BILL WAS DELAYED BECAUSE OF BIG BANKS.

Let us explain this in simple words.

Banks do not want real competition.
DeFi and stablecoins threaten their core business. This bill, in its current form, limits that competition instead of encouraging fair innovation.

Even JPMorgan’s CFO said it clearly:
If stablecoins are allowed to offer yield, banks will see large money outflows.

That one statement explains a lot.

Brian Armstrong said this bill would make crypto worse than it is today.

He said directly: no bill is better than a bad bill.

Not because regulation is bad, but because this version protects banks more than it protects innovation.

Now look at what the bill actually does:

1. TOKENIZED STOCKS WOULD BE ALMOST BANNED

Crypto versions of equities would become nearly impossible in the US.
This kills one of the biggest real world use cases of blockchain.

2. DEFI WOULD BE TREATED LIKE BANKS

The government would get broad access to user data. Every transaction would need reporting.
This destroys privacy and kills the whole idea of decentralization.
DeFi stops being DeFi and becomes another bank system.

3. CFTC GETS WEAKER, SEC GETS MORE POWER

Power gets centralized under one regulator. Innovation slows down.
Crypto native projects face higher compliance and more uncertainty.

4. STABLECOIN REWARDS COULD BE BANNED

Stablecoins would not be allowed to pay yield.

Why? Because yield attracts deposits away from banks.
This directly protects the banking system from competition.

So when you connect everything:

β€’ DeFi becomes controlled
β€’ Stablecoins lose yield
β€’ Tokenization gets blocked
β€’ Banks face less competition

This bill does not help crypto much but It protects banks.

Saudi and Russia still dominate the OPEC+ ceiling.

Quotas unchanged means the group is prioritizing market stability over quick output hikes.

53 banking associations just wrote themselves a $6.6 trillion protection bill.

They called it the CLARITY Act.

Here is what they do not want you to understand.

Banks pay depositors 0.1% interest. Stablecoin issuers hold Treasury bills earning 4.5%. If stablecoins could pass that yield to users, banks lose the deposit war. They cannot compete. The math is fatal.

So they made competition illegal.

The Kansas City Fed calculated what happens if stablecoins pay competitive rates. Banks lose 25.9% of deposits. $1.5 trillion in lending capacity vanishes. The entire community banking model collapses.

Their solution was not innovation. Their solution was legislation.

The CLARITY Act everyone is celebrating contains Section 404 prohibiting yield payments through any mechanism. Not just from issuers. From exchanges. From affiliates. From partners. Every single pathway to competitive returns, closed by statute.

Brian Armstrong reviewed the 278-page draft for 48 hours. He withdrew Coinbase support at 11pm. The markup was postponed by morning. He saw what Wall Street analysts missed entirely.

This is not crypto regulation.

This is Dodd-Frank for digital assets. Incumbents writing rules that crush competitors. Regulatory capture so brazen they published the lobbying letters on their own websites.

The American Bankers Association. 52 state banking associations. The Community Bankers Council. All coordinating to eliminate an industry they cannot beat in open markets.

Meanwhile China made e-CNY interest-bearing on December 29.

America is banning stablecoin yield while Beijing is paying it.

The crypto industry spent years begging for regulatory clarity.

They got it.

Clarity that $6.6 trillion in deposits will be protected at any cost. Clarity that banks write the rules. Clarity that if you cannot win in markets, you win in Congress.

This is the largest regulatory capture event in American financial history.

And it is being sold as innovation policy.

Processed Critical Minerals Declared a National Security Risk $MP $UURAF $UUUU $MTMCF $AREC

The new Section 232 proclamation escalates U.S. policy: for the first time, processed critical minerals and their downstream products , including rare earth magnets, refined battery metals, and defense alloys are officially deemed a national security threat.

The President has directed negotiations with trading partners under a 180-day timeline, and if those talks fail, tariffs, import restrictions, and price floors could be imposed.

This shifts the focus from raw mining to processing and downstream production, targeting foreign-dominated supply chains (China implicitly in focus). Domestic mining alone isn’t enough… dependence on overseas processing leaves defense, aerospace, EV, and high-tech industries exposed.

The legal framework is now fully in place, signaling a potential reshaping of global critical mineral trade, with winners among domestic processors and risks for import-dependent companies.

Silver price had a fantastic 2025πŸš€

Mexico Just Crushed the World in Silver Production with 6,300 metric tons of silver more than double the 2nd producer (Peru at 3,300 tons) and way ahead of everyone else.

Copper Never Lies

🏭It Prices Every Industrial Revolution

This chart compresses 175 years of global growth, war, and power shifts into one line.

⚠️And the message is consistent.

Every time the world electrifies, copper reprices higher.

β€’ 1850–1900 Industrial Revolution
Railways, steam, early electrification. Copper demand explodes.

β€’ 1914–1945 World wars and depression
Volatility dominates, supply shocks drive spikes and crashes.

β€’ 1945–1990 Post-war rebuild + mass electrification
Copper enters a long structural uptrend.

β€’ 2001 China joins the WTO
A demand shock of historic scale. Prices reset permanently higher.

β€’ 2020s Energy transition, EVs, grids, data centers, AI
Copper trades above $5/lb, a level that would have been unthinkable for most of its history.

Today’s cycle is not about housing or China stimulus alone.
It is about

β€’ Power grids
β€’ EVs and charging
β€’ AI data centers
β€’ Defense and reshoring
β€’ Electrification of everything

Supply, meanwhile, is constrained by permitting, declining ore grades, ESG friction, and underinvestment.

That is why #copper keeps acting less like a #commodity and more like a #Macro signal.

If history is a guide, we are not at the end of a move.
We are in the early chapters of the next industrial pulse.
πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ Reuters: The People's Bank of China is preparing a new package of measures to stimulate the economy.

➠ The People's Bank of China announced plans to issue a package of monetary and financial policy measures, which will include a reduction in the interest rate on structural policy instruments. One of the measures: the interest rate on one-year loans will be reduced from 1.50% to 1.25%.

➠ "In recent years, China has been implementing stimulus measures at the beginning of the year. After the reduction in the interest rate on structural instruments, a full reduction in the main interest rate is likely to follow soon," - Economist Intelligence Unit.

➠ Almost $272,000,000,000 will be allocated to expand re-lending programs and support the economy - for technology companies and innovations, agriculture, a mechanism for re-lending to private SMEs.

πŸ“Œ Significance for the crypto market: When the largest economy in Asia floods the system with liquidity, some of the money almost always reaches risky assets. There may be an influx of capital into Bitcoin and altcoins, especially against the backdrop of expectations of new stimulus measures.
