Are RuSSian false-flag sabotage attacks on pipelines and energy installations supplying the European Union expected before this winter?
When Russian divers show up with bolt cutters that’s when we should worry. The EU talks about “strategic autonomy,” yet leaves Ireland, with Europe’s weakest military, to guard the seabed that carries most of the Wests internet.
Nearly 75% of all transatlantic cables pass through Irish waters. And in 2024? The Russian cable‑spy ship Yantar parked itself right over an Irish pipeline and announced it publicly. Basically saying: “We’re here. We know what you’ve got. And we know you can’t stop us.”

Its like asking a kindergarten to guard a nuclear silo.
Humor + reality
EU: “We must protect critical infrastructure.” Russia: sends divers with bolt cutters and deep‑sea robots Ireland: “We have… two patrol boats and a great pub.”
Funny — until you realize it’s real.
The actual threat picture:

Russia has ships designed to tap, map, and cut cables

Yantar and its sister vessels specialize in undersea operations
Cables lie on the seabed like unguarded spaghetti
The EU has no unified cable‑defense doctrine
Ireland lacks the capacity to stop a Russian special‑ops team

In short: When Russian divers show up with bolt cutters its not a drill. It’s a reminder of how fragile the Wests digital backbone really is.

🇪🇺 Europe’s military subordination is over.

EU defence spending will reach €454 billion in 2026—surpassing China and Russia combined.

🔸 At least 40% of defence equipment should be jointly procured by 2030.

🔸 European procurement should reach 60% by 2035, transforming Europe into a unified military bloc.

🔸 Europe needs a French-British nuclear deterrent independent of foreign guarantees.

Europe needs its own foreign policy.

Reaching 60% electrification, full military coordination and strategic autonomy is essential to making that possible.

The Trump administration is drafting a ban on new Chinese optical transceivers which is a critical networking component inside AI data centers.

The move aims to keep Chinese hardware out of U.S. AI infrastructure before it becomes deeply embedded avoiding another Huawei-style removal effort.

Oil > $80 = "imminent peace deal"

🇮🇷🇴🇲 Iran may be close to securing something more valuable than a reopened Strait of Hormuz:

A formal role in managing it.

Tehran and Oman are discussing a system that would route inbound ships near Iran and outbound traffic closer to Oman. The unresolved issue is whether Iran can also collect “service fees.”

Oman describes any payment as voluntary.
Iranian sources suggest it could become mandatory.
Washington rejects Iranian tolls entirely.

This does not mean Iran has taken control of Hormuz.

But even a limited role in directing traffic would give Tehran greater leverage over a chokepoint carrying around one-fifth of global oil supplies.

The strait could reopen while remaining permanently more expensive and politically risky for crude, fuel and LNG cargoes.
🇺🇸🇺🇦 Retired US Navy Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery suggests using F-16s against Russian ballistic missiles - The Washington Post

Montgomery suggests using Extended Range Attack Munition aircraft missiles to strike launchers.

The range of ERAM missiles is about 480 kilometers, the mass of the warhead is about 227 kilograms, they are designed for use in conditions of active electronic warfare.

A year ago, the US State Department approved the sale of up to 3,350 ERAM missiles to Ukraine for up to $825 million.

Montgomery believes that ERAM is difficult to adapt to Soviet aircraft, unlike SCALP or Storm Shadow.

Therefore, he proposes updating the F-16 software and integrating ERAM into the Fighting Falcon weapons control systems.

U.S. Treasury Secretary: A deal with Iran regarding the Strait of Hormuz could be reached as early as tomorrow.

Other key developments related to the conflict in the Middle East as of this hour:

➤ Donald Trump stated that the deal is "the last chance" for Tehran, and that if it fails, the country could face "decapitation" and a much larger military operation by the United States.

➤ Iran rejected Trump's statements about negotiations. The country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that there are no direct contacts with the United States, and that discussions are only being held with Oman regarding the safety of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

➤ A commercial vessel was attacked again in the Strait of Hormuz. The incident occurred against the backdrop of reports about a possible deal and further heightened concerns about the security of oil shipments through the region.

➤ Iran and Oman confirmed that they are working on a temporary mechanism for safe shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. However, key disagreements between Tehran and Washington regarding the terms of opening the route still remain.

Game Theory: How to Win the War by Losing the Battle Every single day, you are building an invisible framework that dictates how the world treats you. When you ignore a crossed boundary, you aren’t being patient; you are establishing a precedent of submission.…

You don't win a game by mastering the visible rules, you win by understanding the incentives driving the players.

In this video prof. jiang breaks down the three elements of game theory (players, boundary conditions, and incentives) to reveal how to predict human behavior, read macro trends, and claim sovereignty over your decisions.

In my opinion, no one has explained game theory better than professor jiang.

The framework and key concepts.

China made a move 18 months ago. Trump noticed it yesterday.

I'll show you a raw material. You've probably never heard of it.

But whether AI centers will be built depends on it.

Yesterday, the US drafted a ban on Chinese-made optical modules.

An optical module is a small part at the end of the cables that connect chips in a data center.

Without these connectors, the thousands of chips in an AI center cannot communicate with each other.

The draft is expected to be published this year.

The ban targets the component itself. But the real issue is inside it.

It contains a raw material. Without it, the component doesn't work, and there's no alternative.

Its name is indium phosphide.

Approximately 70% of the world's indium production is in China.

China made the export of this raw material subject to a permit 18 months ago, in February 2025. The announcement went quietly, and nobody paid attention.

So why did the US choose this component?

Because China controls this area.

Seven of the world's top 10 manufacturers are Chinese. Approximately 60% of the components used by Nvidia come from two Chinese companies.

Up to this point, the move seems logical. You're eliminating your competitor from the most critical component of artificial intelligence.

Last year, an American company experienced what it means to be dependent on raw materials.

AXT is an American company founded in California.

However, its indium phosphide factory is located in China. Shipments stopped in February 2025. To sell to its own customers, it had to wait for permission from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. It received permission four months later, in June.

The American company sold its product to its American customer with the permission granted by China.

This waiting period also impacted production.

Production of these components will remain 40% to 60% below demand until 2027. Even if you find a new source, you can't use it immediately; each source is individually tested and approved, and this takes one to two years.

Now let's go back to the ban.

Think of it this way.

There are two bakeries in the neighborhood. You banned buying bread from the competing bakery. But the flour in your own bakery is milled by that bakery's mill.

You closed the door. The flour still comes through the same door.

This situation isn't just limited to this part.

Look at the transformers that power data centers. Before 2020, the delivery time was between 24 and 30 months; today it's up to 5 years. Yet, the installation time for a data center is 18 months.

The situation is the same with the systems that cool the chips. The magnets inside are made from rare earth elements. 85% to 90% of the processing of these elements and 94% of the magnet production takes place in China.

The result is reflected in the numbers.

Approximately half of the US data centers planned for 2026 have been delayed or canceled. In the same year, the spending plans of the four largest tech companies exceed $650 billion.

They have the money, they have the chips, they have the land. But they don't have the parts.

China has pressed this button once before.

In 2010, a fishing boat crisis erupted with Japan. China halted rare earth shipments.

There's another date.

In October 2025, the US and China reached a trade truce. China suspended some of the controls it announced at that time. The suspension ends on November 10, 2026. The date for gallium, germanium, and antimony is November 27.

The US, however, wants to publish the ban this year.

The two calendars intersect in the same month.

Moreover, the regulation authorizing indium phosphide was never suspended; it is still in effect today.

The rule to be observed here is this:

It's easy to ban a product. It's difficult to control the raw materials that make that product possible. China has been choosing the difficult path for 20 years.

That's why bans don't end dependency. They only move it down a notch.

Yesterday, the US closed the door on the top floor. The bottom floor has been in China's hands for 18 months.

There's a quote by Napoleon... An army marches on its stomach.

Artificial intelligence also marches on its raw material.

And the key to that raw material is in China.
