Nasdaq parabolic update: The "return to normal" phase in 2000 lasted for 3 months.

The question is whether they can hold this together for that long. The previous support trendline should provide resistance if this is the top and the next parabolic interception is around August 14th.

Typically markets begin to run into issues September - October because of the liquidity dynamics of the market and corporate tax season.
BREAKING: President Trump claims both Chevron $CVX and ExxonMobil $XOM are "making too much money" and should give those profits back to the American people.

Both companies haven't responded to Trump's claims.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 44 commercial ships have now been turned away under the U.S. blockade of Iran.

Only 2 had to be disabled.
Another 2 were boarded.

That is the real measure of the operation.

On Aug. 2, CENTCOM’s count stood at 35 redirected vessels. Just 24 hours later, it had climbed to 44.

The key number is not the ships physically stopped.

It is the 44 that changed course.

A blockade becomes effective when the threat of interception alters commercial behavior before force is required. Each diverted vessel further isolates Iranian ports, delays cargoes and raises the cost of moving oil.

Washington is trying to make Iran’s maritime trade commercially unusable without having to attack every ship.

Scott Bessent dit qu'il n'est pas inquiet si le yen japonais se renforce face au dollar. Ces commentaires interviennent après que le Trésor américain a commencé à intervenir sur les marchés des changes la semaine dernière dans une tentative d'empêcher le…
🇺🇸 U.S. 30 year yield has broken out the wedge to the upside.

This is very concerning because the U.S. must roll over $9 trillion of short duration debt in 2026

As 🇯🇵 Japan is one of the largest holder of U.S. treasuries, its failure to halt the yen's devaluation against Dollar means an accelerated sale of U.S. treasuries.

We're now at the point where this becomes a systemic problem. As yields rise in the U.S. it entices Dollars to return home, draining liquidity from foreign markets and making Bank of Japan's control of their currency increasingly difficult.

Are RuSSian false-flag sabotage attacks on pipelines and energy installations supplying the European Union expected before this winter?
When Russian divers show up with bolt cutters that’s when we should worry. The EU talks about “strategic autonomy,” yet leaves Ireland, with Europe’s weakest military, to guard the seabed that carries most of the Wests internet.
Nearly 75% of all transatlantic cables pass through Irish waters. And in 2024? The Russian cable‑spy ship Yantar parked itself right over an Irish pipeline and announced it publicly. Basically saying: “We’re here. We know what you’ve got. And we know you can’t stop us.”

Its like asking a kindergarten to guard a nuclear silo.
Humor + reality
EU: “We must protect critical infrastructure.” Russia: sends divers with bolt cutters and deep‑sea robots Ireland: “We have… two patrol boats and a great pub.”
Funny — until you realize it’s real.
The actual threat picture:

Russia has ships designed to tap, map, and cut cables

Yantar and its sister vessels specialize in undersea operations
Cables lie on the seabed like unguarded spaghetti
The EU has no unified cable‑defense doctrine
Ireland lacks the capacity to stop a Russian special‑ops team

In short: When Russian divers show up with bolt cutters its not a drill. It’s a reminder of how fragile the Wests digital backbone really is.
