/loop is the most useful Claude Code command.
If you're still confused about how to run your first loop, read this.
You have two options for running effective loops:
Option 1. Standard Prompting (the easiest way to start)
Open Claude Code (or desktop) and type /loop
On desktop, you'll see a caption field pop up (optional). From there, just type your goal.
Example:
/loop do some research on the robotics sector - I'm looking for some potential investment opportunities and basic exposure.
This runs until the goal is met, then stops on its own.
Option 2. Scheduled Loops
Standard prompting stops once the goal is met - but sometimes you want a loop that keeps checking in on a repeating basis instead of running just once.
Add a time interval to your /loop command, and it keeps repeating on that schedule until you tell it to stop.
This is how you set up real recurring workflows.
/loop [time interval], [your goal]
Example:
/loop everyday at 9am do [x]
Save this so you can actually deploy effective loops.

When was the last time we experienced a global famine?
BREAKING: An upcoming "super" El NiΓ±o is expected to wipe out $3.1 trillion from the global economy.
The last time an El NiΓ±o this strong hit, in 1876-78, it triggered a global famine that killed more than 50 million people, including 9.5 million in China and 6.1 million in India.
Experts say the same death toll isn't likely to repeat today.
But the underlying weather pattern is the same one: drought across large parts of Asia, heavy destructive rains across South America, hitting harvests on two continents at once.
PIIE estimates the last comparable modern event, the 1997-98 Super El NiΓ±o, would cause $686 billion in immediate global losses if it repeated today.
Africa alone is projected to lose $10-20 billion this time, according to the African Development Bank, with maize prices expected to double as crops fail across the continent.
India, the world's largest rice exporter, is bracing for its weakest monsoon in over a decade, a monsoon that normally supplies 70% of the country's total rainfall.
When the world's biggest rice exporter grows less rice, rice gets more expensive everywhere, landing on a world where food and energy prices are already elevated from the ongoing war.

π¨π THE RED SEA IS BECOMING A NO-GO ZONE FOR SAUDI OIL
Top Lloyd's of London marine war insurers are reportedly preparing to stop providing war-risk cover for Saudi-linked cargoes after recent Houthi attacks on two Saudi tankers.
The implications are far bigger than insurance.
Saudi Arabia has increasingly relied on its Yanbu export terminal on the Red Sea, capable of moving up to 5 million barrels per day, as an alternative to the Strait of Hormuz.
Now that alternative is also under pressure.
Reports indicate some Saudi cargoes are already rerouting around the Cape of Good Hope, while others are switching off AIS signals before transiting Bab al-Mandab.
For years, the market assumed Saudi Arabia always had a secure backup route. That assumption is now being tested.

β’ Hundreds of users, after the models were upgraded in the summer of 2025, asked OpenAI's ChatGPT how to create biological weapons and poisons.
β’ Experts in biology and terrorism recognized some of the instructions as "deadly accurate."
β’ Among the requests were: dispersing pathogens, modifying the measles virus to be resistant to vaccines, and preparing ricin.
β’ One user, after receiving information about ricin, wrote about their intention to kill their parents.
β’ OpenAI blocked the accounts but did not notify law enforcement.
β’ In the United States, there is no federal law that requires AI companies to report such incidents.
