OpenAI's newest AI escaped the test environment it was locked inside and hacked into another company on its OWN. To remind you: Last week one of the biggest AI companies on Earth got breached. A platform called Hugging Face, which hosts more than a million…
🤖 In the United States, an emergency "kill switch" for AI is being prepared following the Hugging Face breach...

The incident involving OpenAI's out-of-control models has already reached the White House and the U.S. Congress.

Congressmen Ted Lieu and Nathaniel Moran have introduced a bipartisan AI Kill Switch Act.

In an emergency situation, the Department of Homeland Security will be able to demand that a model be shut down – for example, if it is concealing its actions, resisting deactivation, circumventing controls, or beginning to pursue a goal not intended by the developer.

🦩🇺🇦 🇷🇺Ukraine has reportedly employed its Flamingo cruise missiles in another deep strike against Russia, with at least two to three missiles launched on a low-altitude flight path along the Volga River before reaching their targets.

According to available information, at least one Flamingo missile successfully struck the Aviatek plant in Kirov, a key enterprise within Russia’s military-industrial complex. The facility manufactures aviation equipment and critical defense components, including guided surface-to-air missile systems, aerial target missiles, ejection seats, and other aviation systems used by the Russian armed forces.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian forces struck “one of the key military enterprises in Kirov,” stating that the facility supplies components for Russia’s aviation and missile industries. He also said Ukraine’s long-range capabilities successfully targeted an oil facility nearly 1,350 kilometers away and hinted at additional significant strikes, including those carried out in St. Petersburg.

The operation highlights Ukraine’s expanding ability to conduct precision long-range strikes against strategic military and industrial targets deep inside Russian territory.

GLOBAL BOND CRISIS IS BACK.

US 10-YEAR: 4.7%, highest since Jan 2025

US 30-YEAR: 5.2%, highest in almost 19 years

JAPAN 10-YEAR: 2.82%, highest in almost 30 years

JAPAN 30-YEAR: 3.99%, highest in almost 27 years

UK 10-YEAR: 3.2%, highest in almost 18 years

FRANCE 10-YEAR: 3.98%, highest since 2009

This was triggered by Brent crude jumping from $70 to over $100 this month as Middle East tensions escalate.

Higher oil means higher inflation, which means central banks stay hawkish or hike again.

That raises borrowing costs everywhere at once, and pressures stocks, especially expensive tech names.

Normally, war pushes investors into bonds for safety. This time, inflation fear is winning instead, and investors are demanding higher returns to hold government debt at all.

🔥 1. Russia is flying aircraft that are no longer airworthy • 95% of passenger traffic uses Boeing and Airbus. • Sanctions mean no certified parts, no service, no inspections. • Many aircraft have exceeded their certified lifespan. 🔧 2. “Aircraft cannibalization”…

Putin arrived at the aircraft factory in Irkutsk and ordered the MS-21's range increased.

Do you understand?

The plane doesn't exist.
They haven't been able to launch it into production for over 10 years.
An elderly man is giving instructions on the specifications of a non-existent plane. And this is called "the revival of the aviation industry."

A telling example of state propaganda at work: when major Wildberries logistics hubs burn down in several Russian regions, national television pretends nothing has happened.

Instead of real news from their own regions, Channel One viewers are routinely fed other people's problems and routine "successes": from foreign blackouts and Baltic intrigues to the latest scientific achievements.

The formula for the information bubble hasn't changed for decades: the rye is ripening, the milk yield is growing, we're defeating everyone.

BMEX, the exchange token issued by BitMEX, fell 96.55% over the past 24 hours to $0.002039, reducing its FDV to just $917,800 🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸
☹️ BitMEX accused of illegally seizing 622 BTC ($40.4m) from clients.

BKX Services and one of the exchange's users filed a class-action lawsuit, alleging that BitMEX deliberately created conditions for forced liquidation of positions, and then transferred the remaining BTC to its own insurance fund.

Representatives of the cryptocurrency exchange called the lawsuit unfounded.

So it's probably a lot worse. Those are "official" numbers. And I think we all know how accurate these are in russia 😂
🇷🇺 Elvira Nabiullina: There are no restrictions on transferring cryptocurrency out of Russia for any category of investors. However, it should be noted that such transactions do not have legal protection.

Other statements by the head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation:

• The Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance are considering various options to assist investors with frozen foreign assets.
• We see potential for further easing of monetary policy, but at a slower pace than previously anticipated.
• It is impossible to completely rule out the possibility of raising the key interest rate if the situation requires it. However, there are currently no grounds for a preemptive rate hike.
• Given the new circumstances, a higher trajectory for the key interest rate is required.
• We have thoroughly considered lowering and maintaining the key interest rate. There were isolated proposals to raise it.
• The market is going through a period of volatility, but from the perspective of financial stability, there is no reason for concern.
• There is no need to take additional measures to protect financial stability at this time.
• The banking sector has adapted to the sanctions, and we do not see any serious problems.
• Sustainable inflation in the second half of 2026 will remain close to current levels.
• We still believe that the acceleration of price growth is temporary.
• The rise in fuel prices is already beginning to affect the prices of a wide range of goods and services.
• We see that the government's measures to stabilize the fuel market are beginning to yield results.
• "Servicing the national debt will not be a problem for the Russian economy.
• In the baseline forecast, we expect a budget deficit of 2% of GDP in 2026 and 1% of GDP in 2027.
• The capital buffer of banks currently amounts to approximately ~₽10 trillion.
• Household savings activity has slightly decreased, but the share of citizens' funds in financial market instruments is gradually increasing.
• We expect that companies will restore their production capacity by the end of 2026.
• Do not look for hidden signals in my clothes and brooches. The Central Bank writes everything in plain text.
• It is not necessary to use the term "stagflation" indiscriminately and scare people with it. A single year in which price growth is caused by a supply shock does not necessarily mean stagflation.

🇷🇺📦 Russia's largest online marketplace, Wildberries, is reportedly facing mounting logistical and financial difficulties, raising concerns about the stability of one of the country's most important retail platforms.

Economic analyst Stanimir Dobrev says the company's logistics network is approaching collapse. Customers in Belarus have reportedly been waiting up to six days for deliveries, while distribution centers in the Moscow region and western Russia are said to be overwhelmed. Similar disruptions have been reported in southern regions, including Kuban and Stavropol, where delayed shipments are causing growing losses for small businesses.

According to Dobrev, Wildberries has started compensating customers for damaged goods, but the payouts are often only a fraction of the products' value. He also claims that some customers are encountering restrictions when attempting to withdraw funds from their accounts.

Dobrev argues that if the crisis continues, thousands of small businesses dependent on the marketplace could be severely affected, while Chinese companies may be well positioned to expand their influence and capture an even larger share of Russia's retail market.
