This is the only post you need to master loop engineering,

If you still feel overwhelmed with /loop - you'll want to save this.

To be honest, prompt engineering is dead. Your only focus should be on mastering loop engineering.

Here's the entire framework broken down:

The old way vs the new way of prompting

Old way: you prompt β†’ AI responds β†’ you check it β†’ you reprompt β†’ repeat.

New way: you define the goal once. The AI tries something, checks its own work, fixes errors, tries again, and marks itself done.

This only works now because Fable 5 and GPT-5.6 Sol are actually smart enough to self-correct.

The 2 commands that matter for loop engineering

β†’ /goal: the mission. What you want achieved and the exact conditions for when it's done.

β†’ /loop: the interval. How often you want that mission repeated (every minute, hour, day).

Inner loop vs outer loop (most people miss this)

Inner loops: one mission, run internally.

Example: "Audit my website like a $5K consultant. List 10 issues with severity, location, and a fix. Stop after 12 turns." - One task, self-corrected until done.

Outer loop: a recurring job on a schedule.

Examples: Scanning competitor channels every day, monitoring your niche on X - these run indefinitely, and self-improving each cycle.

This is the absolute bare-bones of loop engineering, and if you have no clue where to start, just start with these two commands and a basic inner/outer loop framework.

Pro tip:

Prompt Claude: "Based on everything you know about me and my context, help me build one useful inner & outer loop for my daily work."

I don't think people realize how easy it is to build a REAL AI trading bot in 2026.

If you have a laptop, WiFi, and 10 minutes of free time, you can automate your entire trading with Claude.

How to ACTUALLY build an AI trading bot (5 simple steps):

Step 1. Understand the architecture

Every trading bot, whether for stocks or crypto, is built from the same two parts:

β†’ The brain: strategizes your trading. Claude handles this.
β†’ The hands: executes your trades. This happens through an MCP connection.

Step 2. Pick your MCP connection (stocks)

For stocks, Alpaca is one of my favorites.

It's completely free and includes paper trading, so you can test everything with fake money before risking a cent of real capital.

Step 3. Connect it (3 sub-steps)

β†’ Sign up for an Alpaca account
β†’ Grab your API key
β†’ Plug the API key into Claude

Your brain and your hands are now connected.

Step 4. Pick your MCP connection (crypto)

Same exact process, different exchange.

Go to whichever exchange you use (Blofin, Binance, Bybit, etc) and grab your API key from account settings.

Step 5. Connect your exchange to Claude

Plug the key into Claude with a prompt like:

"I want to automate my trading with the Blofin MCP, connect my API key [insert key], and build a dashboard to manage my trading."

Once connected, Claude can read your positions, place trades, and manage everything through a single interface.

From here, you can build a fully custom dashboard (like the one shown below) to give your connections a nice interface for trading.

Super simple - save this so you don't forget it.

SpaceX $SPCX falls to $126 after-hours after a failed Starship launch. The stock is now trading below it's $135 IPO price and almost 50% below its peak price.
SpaceX shares are now trading at $120, almost 50% below the peak price of $225.

20% of $SPCX insider shares unlock on Wed Aug 6th following Q2 earnings. That marks the beginning the unlock schedule that ends with 100% of shares unlocked for selling by December 2026

The unlock schedule:
Aug 6 - 20%
Aug 21 - 7%
Sep 10 - 7%
Sep 25 - 7%
Oct 10 - 7%
Oct 25 - 7%
late Oct / early Nov 2026 - 28%
Dec 9 - Remaining Shares

This has sparked fear that the largest IPO in history was purposely fast tracked into the indices after only 15 days, so retirement funds and passive investment funds were forced to buy at astronomical prices, and hold the bag the entire way down.

The "Don't Panic" segment: Solovyov has called on Russians to prepare for evacuations. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

The propagandist predicts that Ukraine will launch attacks on Russian energy infrastructure this coming autumn and winter, likely placing many regions in an "extremely precarious situation." Solovyov's plan entails relocating between 200,000 and 400,000 residents from the Kursk and Bryansk regions (as well as from occupied territories) to the Volga region, the Urals, and the Far East.

But where are the Muscovites supposed to go?!

After several failed bond auctions, the Russian government is canceling future issuances, giving no guidance on any resumption.

Russia now joins a very small club of nations - namely Ethiopia and Lebanon - that are unable to sell government bonds even to their own commercial banks.
Kimi just shipped one of the most powerful open-weight models on earth.

2.8 trillion parameters, a 1M token context window, and it beats Claude Opus 4.8 on independent benchmarks.

Most people are only using it to chat. Almost nobody is building Skills for it yet.

Here's exactly to build insanely powerful Kimi K3 skills:

What a Skill actually is

A Skill is a folder containing a SKILL.md file that teaches Kimi Code a specific workflow, standard, or piece of domain knowledge it should follow every time a matching task comes up.

Instead of re-explaining your coding conventions, your writing style, or your business rules every session, you write it once and Kimi automatically decides when to pull it in.

3 ways to build one:

1. The manual way (most control)

Create a subdirectory inside your Skills folder, then create a SKILL.md file inside it.

---
name: my-skill-name
description: What this does and when to use it
---

## Instructions
[Your step-by-step workflow here]

That's the entire structure. YAML frontmatter on top, markdown instructions below.

2. The AI-assisted way (fastest)

Type /skill-creator and just describe what you want in plain language. Kimi organizes it into a complete, properly formatted skill for you.

3. Document to Skills (best if you already have material)

Upload a Word doc, PDF, Excel sheet, or presentation you already use internally. Kimi extracts the key information and converts it directly into a reusable skill. No writing from scratch.

How to trigger them:

β†’ Manually: /skill:your-skill-name followed by your specific task
β†’ Automatically: in normal conversation, Kimi reads context and decides on its own whether a skill applies

The rules that make a skill actually good:

β†’ One skill should do one thing well. Don't cram five workflows into a single file.
β†’ Write a clear description. Kimi decides when to trigger a skill based on how precisely you describe what it's for and when to use it.
β†’ Keep instructions short and specific. Bloated skills cost tokens every single time they load.

Advanced: Flow Skills

Kimi is one of the best models to install skill packages; save this so you don't forget!

$IRUS H2 🩸🩸🩸 Russia Index 1929.6 points
$IRUS We need to briefly explain the terms "ongoing" and "collapse" in the context of Russia.

"Ongoing" – because the catastrophic situation has already lasted five months, with no prospect of improvement.

"Collapse" – because the total value of Russian companies has fallen by more than 30% during this period.

Tomorrow, we will explain "total chaos" and "civil war." πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Reuters reports that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov insists Russia's economic difficulties are "not critical." That may be one of the clearest indicators yet that they are. Russia rarely feels the need to reassure people when everything is going well.

This is the same Kremlin spokesman who recently claimed Ukraine had been "demilitarised", despite Moscow now being struck with increasing frequency by Ukrainian-designed and Ukrainian-produced drones and ballistic missiles with the gap between official rhetoric and reality appearing to be widening further than ever.
We've seen this pattern before, it wasn't until Crimea declared a state of emergency over fuel shortages that Putin was forced to publicly acknowledge the issue, after months of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russia's fuel infrastructure and logistics in and around Crimea.
The Kremlin's instinct is often to deny problems until events make them impossible to ignore.
