Ukraine May Have Found Russia’s Achilles Heel 🇺🇦💥🇷🇺
Most areas of Russia are now facing some form of fuel restriction
That is a remarkable situation for one of the world’s largest oil producers
The reason is not a lack of crude
It is pressure on the system that turns crude into usable fuel
🔹 Refineries hit by Ukrainian drones
🔹 Storage sites damaged
🔹 Export ports disrupted
🔹 Rail and road logistics strained
🔹 Regional fuel distribution under pressure
The result is spreading fuel stress across Russia
🔹 Rationing
🔹 Local shortages
🔹 Higher prices
🔹 Longer supply chains
🔹 Growing pressure on regional authorities
This is why energy infrastructure matters
Russia can still produce oil
But if refineries, terminals and logistics are disrupted, the domestic fuel system starts to crack
Ukraine is not just attacking barrels
It is attacking the machinery that keeps Russia moving

🚨 Now Russia is admitting it too.
Novak just confirmed:
• “Terror attacks” damaged Russian refineries
• Gasoline production has been CUT
• “Situation remains complex”
• Fuel stations under pressure
This isn’t Iran. This isn’t Qatar.
This is Russia.
The world’s second largest oil exporter.
Now facing its own domestic fuel crisis. ⛽
Ukraine has been striking Russian refineries for months.
But this admission timed right in the middle of the Hormuz crisis matters more than usual.
Russia was supposed to be the fallback.
The Arctic LNG lifeline.
The Asian pivot.
The alternative to Gulf supply.
Now even the fallback is cracking🇷🇺

🔥Hong Kong's gold imports are surging ahead of its new clearing system launch:
Hong Kong imported ~103,000 kg of gold in April 2026, followed by ~93,000 kg in May, with both months exceeding the 2-year average of ~61,000 kg.
This comes as Hong Kong began trial operations of a new gold clearing system this week, backed by 11 financial institutions including JPMorgan, HSBC, and UBS.
Ahead of launch, at least 4 participating banks stockpiled large 400-ounce bullion bars, the institutional standard for settlement, contributing to the surge in imports.
The system also introduces a new gold price benchmark called HAU, now live on Bloomberg, aiming to give Hong Kong a global reference rate for gold trading.
A reference rate sets the standard price used to settle contracts and value gold, a role London's benchmark has held for decades.
Hong Kong and Singapore are competing to become Asia's leading gold hub, with Singapore unveiling its own clearing system last month.
Asia is building the infrastructure to challenge London’s dominance in global gold trading.

#WTI Everyone still doesn't understand... The real reason oil is falling is the economic destruction unleashed on the global economy during the oil spike to $120. Jan 2020, oil began collapsing after a spike. 60 days later the market crashed. July 2008,…
They're already crushing volatility.
If you're curious how or why, simple. OpEx isn't until next week July 17th 🤫

The Economist rang the bell both times🔔
Peak euphoria → cover screams “even higher”
Peak capitulation → cover admits defeat
Not because The Economist has bad analysis.
Because by the time a mainstream cover captures the sentiment extreme, the trade is already crowded in that direction.

Rumor mill says everyone has a monster model cooking. OpenAI, Google, xAI, Meta, Anthropic. The funny part is one of them is probably sitting on something that makes today’s models look ancient. Who drops first?

We've never seen a semiconductor bubble like this before in history. Did the $SOX bubble just pop?
The perfect retail trap would be a sharp rally in semiconductors with all the earnings reports next week, then pull the rug after July 17th OpEx.

The parabolic trend is clearly broken though.

Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is warning that an AI-driven market selloff could quickly spill into credit, because stock losses and credit spreads have moved together in past stress episodes like 2008 and 2020.
Private credit has also become a bigger lender to smaller firms, and software borrowers are increasingly tied to multiple lenders, so an AI shock could spread through a less transparent credit system.
