Robotics: coding agentsโ€™ next frontier.

So how good are they?

We introduce CaP-X: an open-source framework and benchmark for coding agents, where they write code for robot perception and control, execute it on sim and real robots, observe the outcomes, and iteratively improve code reliability.

At the core of CaP-X is CaP-Gym: an open-source simulation playground for robot agents spanning 187 community standard tasks: robosuite, LIBERO-PRO, and BEHAVIOR. It is designed to be easy to extend with new environments and skills, while a web-based chat UI and robot visualizer powered by Viser make it easy to inspect and interact with agents.

Instead of end-to-end models spitting out actions, it lets LLMs write Python code to control robots, perception, planning, execution, and error recovery all through code. Super interpretable.

Even better, theyโ€™ve already tested it on the AgiBot G1 humanoid robot in the real world. You give one natural language instruction, and the robot generates code to handle tasks like picking, stacking, wiping spills, and two-arm coordination, with strong zero-shot performance.

This feels like giving humanoid robots a much smarter and more flexible brain.

The daggerโš”๏ธ
The gun๐Ÿ”ซ
The phone๐Ÿ“ฑ
The chip๐Ÿค–

NVIDIA is worth 2.5x Saudi aramco

The market thinks chips beat barrels๐Ÿ›ข๏ธ

Tech owns the global top 10 and Oil looks like yesterday's game.

But every Nvidia GPU runs on minerals China controls at 90%.

Every data center needs power.

And the world's most advanced chips are made in an island Beijing has publicly said it intends to take.

The AI era looks weightless.... It isn't.

In my latest article I cover what the market is missing:

โ†’ How China built a processing monopoly over every material that matters, while the West wasn't watching

โ†’ Why Taiwan is not a sovereignty dispute but the central node of AI hardware

โ†’ What Venezuela, Iran, and Russia have in common right now

โ†’ Why Europe is more trapped than it admits

โ†’ 4 ways the Iran war ends and what each one costs China

The fight over this era's weapon has already started.

Most people just haven't noticed yet.

Is The US really leaving Hormuz?

They import 0.4 million barrels/day through it

Guess who imports 5.4 million?

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ China 5.4 mb/d
๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ India 2.1 mb/d
๐ŸŒ Rest of Asia 2.0 mb/d
๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท South Korea 1.7 mb/d
๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Japan 1.6 mb/d
๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Europe 0.5 mb/d
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ US 0.4 mb/d

America guarded the world's most critical oil chokepoint for 80 years.

And the country that needs Hormuz most is the one that's been buying Iranian oil on the cheap and blocking every sanctions effort.

Beijing has a $5.4 million barrels/day problem.

The geopolitics of who fills that vacuum is the most important story of 2026.
