AnySignal announced it has been selected by the United States Space Force (USSF) to field their Resilient, Agile, and Interference-Defiant Network for Secure Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) and Space Data Network (SDN).

"The modern battlespace requires communications infrastructure that is as dynamic and resilient as the warfighters it supports," said John Malsbury, CEO at AnySignal.

"AnySignal's Defense platform is moving beyond static links to a self-healing network that autonomously navigates the spectrum to defeat interference."

Today, three such companies appear to have, almost by mutual agreement, released updates on their progress:

Google DeepMind continues to expand its humanoid robotics ecosystem (Apptronik Agility …)through a collaboration with Agile Robotics. Gemini Robotics is being deployed to Aglie's customer sites, while Aglie's humanoid will powered by Google's Physical AI. a flywheel.

Amazon has acquired Fauna, a startup based in NYC. This acquisition completes Amazon's robotics pipeline, spanning the entire journey from warehouse to home delivery. Given Amazon's extensive experience managing a fleet of one million automated robots, it would come as no surprise to see Fauna's charming humanoid robots eventually making home deliveries. But ultimately, it enters the user's home.

Tesla's Optimus has released a new video(discussing manufacturing iteration and talent acquisition). This appears to be a harbinger of the imminent arrival of Optimus v3. Mass production is slated to begin this summer, with a production line capable of manufacturing one million units expected to be fully established by the end of the year.

The world's wealthiest companies(Including NVIDIA Apple)are strategically venturing into the field of humanoid robots, albeit to varying degrees.

With a quarter of 2026 already behind us, it appears that everything so far has merely been a warm-up.

🚨 The US just physically flew $100 million in gold out of Venezuela

The 1st precious metals shipment between the 2 countries in over 20 years and almost nobody is connecting what this really means. 👇

📌 Interior Secretary Burgum flew to Venezuela with oil & mining executives

📌 Met with interim President Delcy Rodriguez for 10 hours

📌 Left with $100M in gold, Physically, On a plane.

📌 1st Venezuela → US precious metals shipment since 2005

But this is a bigger resource acquisition story🎯

Venezuela sits on:

🛢️ 303 billion barrels of oil world's largest reserves
🥇 Massive gold deposits
⚫ Coal rich in critical minerals
⚡ A mining sector in complete collapse controlled by gangs

The US went with oil executives and mining executives.
That tells you everything about the real agenda.
Two themes are quietly rewriting the market right now.

Do not discover them late.

PHOTONICS

AI needs to move data at the speed of light.

Copper can’t do it but light can.

NVIDIA just dropped $4 billion locking up laser supply. When Jensen Huang pre-buys your product years in advance that is a supercycle.

You must understand the market and the narratives as they come.

The biggest returns in markets don’t come from being smart.

They come from being early.

Early requires patience.

Patience requires understanding.

Understanding requires work.

Do the work.
Photonics is the most important shift in AI infrastructure right now.

Here’s why it is suddenly everywhere:

AI is hitting a wall.

It is not compute.
No it is not GPUs.

But it is data movement.

GPUs need to talk to each other and right now they use copper.

But copper has limits:
• slower
• high heat
• signal loss at scale

Photonics replaces copper with LIGHT.

It is faster.
Lower power.
Way more bandwidth.

But the real shift is CPO (Co-Packaged Optics)

Instead of:
chips → copper → optics

It becomes:
chips → optics directly

Why?

Shorter distance
Less energy loss
Higher efficiency

This is how hyperscalers scale AI and matching demand.

Why this is trending now:

AI demand is exploding

Data centres are bottlenecked

And you simply cannot scale compute without fixing data transfer.

So the entire stack is moving:

Lasers
Silicon photonics
Optical packaging
Interconnect
Testing

This isn’t a product cycle.

It’s a rebuild of how data moves.

It is CRUCIAL you understand this and the market and why photonics are flying, but at the same time stay rational and observe.

These are the layers that actually matter.

Not just “photonics”, but the full stack

Light source (lasers) → creates the signal
SiPh foundry → builds the photonic chips
DCO / DSP → makes the signal usable

Packaging + interposers → connects everything

Substrates → foundation of the chip

Analog ICs → controls + amplifies signal

Connectors + fibre → moves the data

Test & measurement → makes sure it actually works

If you’re trying to understand the trade:

Don’t just pick a ticker

Follow the bottlenecks across these layers.
