$PLTR and Anduril are building the software layer for the $185B β€œGolden Dome” missile defense system. The platform will serve as the command-and-control brain linking radars, sensors and weapons into a unified network.

The US government is handing over the brain of America's entire missile defense system to two Silicon Valley startups.

Palantir and Anduril are building the operating system for Trump's Golden Dome, a $185 billion shield designed to stop ballistic, hypersonic and cruise missiles from reaching American soil.

The software they are building will serve as the command and control brain linking every radar, every sensor, and every weapon in the entire system into one unified network.

Think of it as the iPhone of warfare, every weapon plugged into one system, every threat processed by the same AI.

The Golden Dome program was signed into existence by President Trump on January with the explicit goal of defending the entire United States homeland from advanced missile threats.

The original price tag was $125 billion and it has already grown to $185 billion, with the director admitting they need more space capabilities.

The Congressional Budget Office put the real potential cost at $831 billion and one think tank estimated it could reach $3.6 trillion by 2045.

Anduril and Palantir are not new to this kind of work.

Together with Microsoft, they won a $99.6 million Army contract to build the Next Generation Command and Control system, a prototype already being tested on live soldiers with real weapons at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Now those same companies are racing to deliver the Golden Dome software this summer.

SpaceX is also in the consortium, pitching a network of 400 to 1,000 satellites to track missiles from space structured as a subscription service, meaning the US government would not even own the system.

Anduril just acquired a space surveillance firm called ExoAnalytic Solutions, which operates over 400 telescopes worldwide for missile tracking, to accelerate its bid.

Traditional defense giants like Lockheed Martin are still in the program but Silicon Valley is now running point on the most critical software layer.

Imagine a single person controlling dozens of humanoid robots…

Hangzhou Westlake Robotics has introduced GAE (General Action Expert), an "avatar" system that transforms their Titan01 humanoid robot into a capable assistant/physical agent

By simply donning a motion-capture suit and VR gloves, a human operator can control the humanoid robot in real time, executing actions with virtually zero latency.

The humanoid robot acts as a literal shadow of its operator.

After watching the video, I realized that many high-risk tasks currently requiring human intervention, such as inspections in high-voltage power substations, could be entirely delegated to humanoid robots.

Furthermore, in the realm of home-based elder care, caregivers would no longer need to make house calls; instead, they could control a humanoid robot from hundreds of miles away to provide nursing assistance, facilitate communication, and even offer companionship to children.

Intriguingly, this system allows a single human operator to control dozens of humanoid robots simultaneously.

Massive.

and where else do you think it could be used?

πŸ“‹ Market Drivers β€” Quick FX News Update

βœ… Repsol to triple Venezuela crude output to 150,000 bpd (Reuters)
πŸ”– Impact: Higher Venezuelan crude production signals more oil supply in coming 12–24 months. Crude-oriented currencies (CAD, NOK) may face softer-than-expected support if global supply increases; oil importers' currencies (JPY, EUR) could get relief. Watch oil-price correlation with USD/commodity FX.

πŸ“Œ Chile central bank holds rate at 4.5% amid fuel price surge (Reuters)
πŸ”– Impact: A pause while inflation risks from energy remain elevated. Peso may see volatility β€” hawkish expectations tempered, so CLP could weaken on persistent fuel-driven CPI upside. Traders should monitor guidance for potential tightening if inflation proves persistent.

πŸ“‹ Vietnam raises $188 mln in government bond auction (Reuters)
πŸ”– Impact: Successful local funding reduces immediate FX funding pressure; stable bond demand supports VND. Modest positive for EM sentiment in SE Asia; scale is small but shows local investors absorbing issuance β€” watch upcoming auctions for trend confirmation.

βœ… U.K. inflation unchanged at 3.0% in February (Dow Jones / Reuters)
πŸ”– Impact: Sticky but steady inflation keeps Bank of England rate expectations stable. Sterling likely to trade on relative BoE vs. other central banks’ tilt; unchanged CPI reduces surprise risk but keeps GBP sensitive to labor data and rate-speak.

πŸ“Œ Cross-market outlook β€” synthesis
πŸ”– Takeaway: Oil supply news (Repsol) and Chilean fuel-driven inflation create mixed commodity pressures. UK CPI stability reduces immediate BoE-driven volatility for GBP. EM pockets (VND) show resilience via bond demand. Overall near-term FX environment: commodity-linked FX remain headline-sensitive; G10 FX driven by central bank guidance and relative inflation surprises.

πŸ“‹ Key levels & trade ideas (short notes)
πŸ”– Watch: USD strength if oil softens and risk-off emerges. Short-term sell signals for CLP if fuel inflation persists without policy response. Consider reduced long exposure to CAD/NOK if oil downside accelerates; monitor GBP for range-bound moves unless surprises in UK labor/CPI.

Bottom line: Energy supply and local inflation updates are the primary drivers today β€” trade selectively around central-bank guidance and oil-price moves.
