$PLTR and Anduril are building the software layer for the $185B βGolden Domeβ missile defense system. The platform will serve as the command-and-control brain linking radars, sensors and weapons into a unified network.

The US government is handing over the brain of America's entire missile defense system to two Silicon Valley startups.
Palantir and Anduril are building the operating system for Trump's Golden Dome, a $185 billion shield designed to stop ballistic, hypersonic and cruise missiles from reaching American soil.
The software they are building will serve as the command and control brain linking every radar, every sensor, and every weapon in the entire system into one unified network.
Think of it as the iPhone of warfare, every weapon plugged into one system, every threat processed by the same AI.
The Golden Dome program was signed into existence by President Trump on January with the explicit goal of defending the entire United States homeland from advanced missile threats.
The original price tag was $125 billion and it has already grown to $185 billion, with the director admitting they need more space capabilities.
The Congressional Budget Office put the real potential cost at $831 billion and one think tank estimated it could reach $3.6 trillion by 2045.
Anduril and Palantir are not new to this kind of work.
Together with Microsoft, they won a $99.6 million Army contract to build the Next Generation Command and Control system, a prototype already being tested on live soldiers with real weapons at Fort Carson, Colorado.
Now those same companies are racing to deliver the Golden Dome software this summer.
SpaceX is also in the consortium, pitching a network of 400 to 1,000 satellites to track missiles from space structured as a subscription service, meaning the US government would not even own the system.
Anduril just acquired a space surveillance firm called ExoAnalytic Solutions, which operates over 400 telescopes worldwide for missile tracking, to accelerate its bid.
Traditional defense giants like Lockheed Martin are still in the program but Silicon Valley is now running point on the most critical software layer.

Imagine a single person controlling dozens of humanoid robotsβ¦
Hangzhou Westlake Robotics has introduced GAE (General Action Expert), an "avatar" system that transforms their Titan01 humanoid robot into a capable assistant/physical agent
By simply donning a motion-capture suit and VR gloves, a human operator can control the humanoid robot in real time, executing actions with virtually zero latency.
The humanoid robot acts as a literal shadow of its operator.
After watching the video, I realized that many high-risk tasks currently requiring human intervention, such as inspections in high-voltage power substations, could be entirely delegated to humanoid robots.
Furthermore, in the realm of home-based elder care, caregivers would no longer need to make house calls; instead, they could control a humanoid robot from hundreds of miles away to provide nursing assistance, facilitate communication, and even offer companionship to children.
Intriguingly, this system allows a single human operator to control dozens of humanoid robots simultaneously.
Massive.
and where else do you think it could be used?
