The U.S. Army has placed new orders for weapon-mounted laser systems from B.E. Meyers & Co. (#bemeyersco), continuing upgrades aimed at improving infantry effectiveness during night operations.
According to the company, the Army has already received more than 1,000 MAWL-X1 aiming and illumination laser systems in 2025, with another 1,000+ MAWL-X1 and DAGIR-V1 systems scheduled for delivery in 2026 under the Tailored Logistics Services (TLS) program.
Both systems are designed for use on individual carbines and support low-visibility combat operations, combining infrared illumination and aiming capabilities for soldiers operating with night-vision equipment.
