🚨 G7 finance ministers held an emergency call to discuss a coordinated Strategic Petroleum Reserve release led by the IEA.
The proposal:
➡️ 300–400 million barrels
To put that in perspective:
• IEA governments hold 1.24B barrels of emergency stocks
• Industry holds another 600M barrels
A 400M barrel release would equal:
