THIS IS CONCERNING. Over 1.17 million US job cuts were announced in the last year, the highest since the pandemic. 600,000 were cut in just the first two months of 2026. Major layoffs include: • US Government: 317,000 • UPS: 78,000 • Amazon: 30,000 • Intel:…
Anthropic just released the most IMPORTANT chart in the AI labor debate.

This comes from the company that builds Claude using data from 2 million real conversations.

Here’s what it shows.

The blue area is every task AI could theoretically do right now.

The red area is what people are actually using it for.

The gap between them is enormous and that gap is your career runway.

Computer programmers are already 75%
covered.

Customer service reps, data entry workers, financial analysts, they’re next.

But here’s what no one is talking about.

The mass layoffs haven’t really started.

Unemployment for exposed workers hasn’t budged.

So what’s actually happening?

Companies are closing the front door, hiring for workers aged 22 to 25 in AI exposed jobs has dropped 14%.

The most exposed workers aren’t factory workers, they’re college educated, higher earning.

49% of US jobs now have at least a quarter of their tasks inside AI’s reach.

That’s up from 36% just one year ago.

And the red area on that chart,
the real world usage is still a fraction of what’s possible.

Every month, it grows a bit.

Anthropic built the scoreboard and most people haven’t looked at it yet.

OpenAI just released something that should terrify every white collar worker in America.

It's a machine that beats human professionals at their own jobs 83% of the time.

Lawyers, accountants, financial analysts, sales managers, editors and 44 different occupations, tested head to head.

The AI won by a lot.

Four months ago, this same test showed AI winning 38% of the time then it hit 71%.

Now it's 83% and in 120 days, it more than doubled.

But that's not even the scariest part.

OpenAI built GPT-5.4 so it can see your screen.

Move your mouse, click through software, complete your entire workflow without you.

And it's alreadyetter at using a computer than you are.

Humans score 72.4% on desktop navigation tasks, GPT-5.4 scores 75%.

It writes investment banking spreadsheets better than junior analysts, It builds presentations that humans prefer 68% of the time over the old model.

It hallucinates 33% less and it has a 1 million token memory.

You now have a 1 in 6 chance of being better than GPT-5.4 at your own job.

The question is no longer whether AI will transform the workforce.

It's whether you're ready for how fast it's already happening.

xAI just filed a $659 million building permit in Memphis, Tennessee.

For a mystery building, four stories. 312,000 square feet.

Right next to the most powerful AI supercomputer ever built.

The documents don’t even say what it’s for.

Here’s what we know.

xAI already runs Colossus 2, a facility packed with 550,000 NVIDIA GPUs.

It came online in January and satellite photos showed it wasn’t even close to full capacity yet.

Now they’re expanding, again.

This is part of something much bigger.

In January, Elon Musk committed $20 billion to a third data center across the state line in Mississippi.

The largest private investment in that state’s history.

The goal is 2 gigawatts of AI compute power concentrated in one cluster.

Enough electricity to power 1.5 million homes, all for one thing training Grok.

No other company on Earth has anything like this.

xAI has more GPUs at a single site than most nations have in total.

So what is this mystery building?

It’s four stories tall and that’s extremely unusual for a data center.

You don’t build up unless you’re stacking something incredibly dense.

This is likely xAI’s first dedicated inference facility, the machine that actually serves Grok to the world.

Training teaches the AI to think.

Inference lets it talk to you and they require completely different hardware.

And right now, xAI doesn’t have a building for the second part.

Grok 4 is already live Grok 5 is coming with 6 trillion parameters.

You can’t serve that to hundreds of millions of users from a training cluster.

You need something vertical that costs $659 million.

That’s what Elon is building in Memphis.

The factory that turns raw intelligence into a product.

$ZENA $ONDS $AIRO $RCAT $SPAI $AVAV | Defense drone market is surging toward a $40B opportunity as autonomous tech redefines the battlefield.

Driven by AI swarms and "attritable" systems, the sector is eyeing a 15% CAGR as nations race to secure the 2026 to 2030 air supremacy.
We are entering a phase where knowledge compounds faster than our intuition, and future arrives before society has fully adjusted to the present.

Our brains evolved to understand gradual change, but AI, biotech, gene editing, robotics, BCI, fusion, longevity research, quantum science, and automation are advancing exponentially, so outcomes arrive earlier and stronger than we intuitively expect.

BYD flash-charging technology allows its electric cars to gain the equivalent of 400 kilometers of range in just 5 minutes 😱
Ultra-fast EV charging is coming

“Engineers at BYD unveiled a new generation Blade Battery 2.0 paired with a megawatt ‘flash-charging’ system capable of adding hundreds of kilometers of range in just minutes.”

“The technology can charge an electric vehicle from roughly 10% to 70% in about 5 minutes and close to a full charge in around 10 minutes, thanks to a 1000-volt architecture delivering nearly 1 megawatt of power.”

“This breakthrough could bring EV charging times closer to the speed of refueling a gasoline car, removing one of the biggest barriers to global electric vehicle adoption.”
