It is worth noting that Bisharat, from the town of Tammun in Tubas in the occupied West Bank, was one of the prisoners freed in the 2011 Shalit exchange deal. He was re-arrested by the occupation during the war on Gaza and released today.

It is worth noting that Salem is the father of the martyred child, Yusuf, who became known after his mother's emotional description of him: "Yusuf, 7 years old, with curly hair, fair skin, and a beautiful face," following his death.

A Lebanese child’s reaction to Gaza ceasefire and the entry of aid
After 22 months of detention in Israeli prisons, Palestinian detainee Naseem al-Radee returned to Gaza bearing the scars of relentless torture and tragedy.
Abducted by Israeli occupation forces in December 2023 from a displacement shelter, Radee endured beatings, starvation, and 100 days in an underground cell without charge. Before his release, guards bound and assaulted him “as a farewell,” leaving him nearly blind in one eye.
He described systematic torture, overcrowded cells, and the denial of medical care, conditions echoed by fellow detainee Mohammed al-Asaliya, who recounted being hung on walls, sprayed with cold air, and exposed to nonstop blaring music. Both men emerged emaciated, joining hundreds of released detainees in critical condition.
Upon returning home, Radee learned his wife and children had been killed in Gaza during his detention. “My joy went with them,” he said, standing amid the ruins of both his home and family.

13 martyrs (including 7 martyrs due to direct targeting by the occupation and 6 martyrs recovered) and 8 injuries have arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.
A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them until now.
The toll of the "israeli" aggression has risen to 68,229 martyrs and 170,369 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Since the ceasefire (October 11, 2025), the totals are: 87 martyrs, 311 injuries, and 432 retrieved bodies.
15 unidentified bodies held by the occupation were received, raising the total number of bodies received from the occupation to 165.
