"Government Media Office: Over 500,000 Displaced Palestinians Return to Northern Gaza Amid Humanitarian Crisis"

The Government Media Office announced that in the past 72 hours, more than half a million (500,000) displaced Palestinians have returned from the southern and central governorates to Gaza and its northern regions via Al-Rashid and Salah Al-Din roads. This mass return follows 470 days of forced displacement since the start of the genocide war waged by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip.

The Office emphasized the urgent need for international intervention, stating, "In light of the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in Gaza, we call on all parties and mediators to exert maximum pressure on the Israeli occupation to fulfill its commitments and accelerate the implementation of the humanitarian protocol. This must ensure the unrestricted entry of relief and shelter supplies."
