Gaza’s death toll rises

At least 37,266 people have been killed and 85,102 wounded in Israeli military attacks on Gaza since October 7, the enclave’s Health Ministry says.

Of them, 34 Palestinians were killed and 71 wounded in the past 24-hour reporting period, the ministry added.

Israel’s Channel 12 is reporting that the army has recommended ending its military offensive in Rafah, southern Gaza, and redirecting its efforts towards a new offensive in southern Lebanon.
