The organisation who received them stressed that the animals were in a difficult psychological state, after living a life of hardship in Gaza whilst also revealing the true motive behind this action- “We will not allow donkeys to enter the Gaza Strip, and we will work to remove the rest from Gaza so they cannot be used in Gaza’s reconstruction efforts.”

This confirms that Israel is systematically stripping Gazans of their remaining lifelines and that they feign concern for the lives of donkeys while killing tens of thousands of Palestinians.
