WhatsApp says journalists and civil society members were targets of Israeli spyware

Nearly 100 journalists and other members of civil society using Meta’s chat service WhatsApp are suspected to have been targets of a spyware campaign conducted by an Israeli spyware company called Paragon Solutions, the company has said.

As part of the fourth batch of the “Free Flood” deal, 183 Palestinian prisoners will be released on Saturday, including:

18 prisoners serving life sentences.

54 prisoners with high and life sentences.

111 prisoners from Gaza arrested after October 7.

The Palestinian resistance reaffirms its commitment to liberating prisoners, considering it a national and moral duty to break their shackles and end their suffering in occupation prisons.
